The fact that curry said "you don't want to see us next year" is badass lmao. Especially off of one horrible season and a not so good season, in their standards at least.
As a Celtics fan I absolutely hated watching Curry slice up my team on the biggest stage, however the pure awe that filled me watching him make the most incredible and smooth plays against a defense that was completely designed around stopping him was miraculous. Even calling it that is an understatement. He IS the Warriors and you cannot have a top 10 all-time list without him.
@Prince DaKing I don't even fucking like LeBron but how are 2017 and 2018 choke jobs? Frankly how is 2007 since it's against the dynasty Spurs and he had possibly his worst roster on his first Finals run at like 23 years old? It's so weird when people try to trash on LeBron or Steph at this point when their legacies are already solidified. Their resumes can only get better not worse.
I have been a Warriors fan for over 25 years now. Steph Curry is and will always be my favorite player of all time. We are so grateful to see this level of talent in any sport.
Respect to you brother! I am a relatively younger fan and I can't even imagine going through that horrible period in the 2000s where the Warriors management made every blunder possible!
Thank the Minnesota Timberwolves for passing on Steph with the 5th AND 6th picks in the 2009 draft. They had TWO chances to draft him and they passed lol
People seem to have a hard time wrapping their heads around the idea of teamwork beating superstardom. This playoffs exemplified that! The Celtics teamwork got them past so many superstars and to the finals. The Warriors did the same and won. Home grown talent and team cohesion is powerful. When everyone feels like they are a part of it and are valued, they work together better and win more.
@roberdanger because team refuse to do so. Warriors risk it to have it. Well it paid off tho. Plus they are good at keeping and taking care of their players including developing them. Unlike some teams who don't want to develop from being a small franchise. See wiggins in the wolves back then? Looking at both Jpool and Gp2 as trash? Look at what they did throughout the season and finals.
Look at the 2011 Dallas mavericks. They are a perfect example of teamwork beating super stars. Even tho Dirk was carrying and was the only superstar on the team. All his teammates were vets and they all cooperated to get Dirk open shots.
Why does no one mention that Steph is the only NBA player EVER to get a unanimous MVP. In my opinion that's a accomplishment that seems impossible. I mean every 50 people that voted voted the same person? Insane.
@Ryan Jose people hate him for changing the game, building a boring dynasty that lasted 5 years and blowout teams in 4th quarters and let’s not forget he makes players looks dumb when he’s dribbling
I wasn't really into basketball, football(soccer) fan, but cause of Steph, I've become a warriors fan. That dude is phenomenal. He does things that makes you question how good one can truly get just by refining their craft.
Same for me as all here. Absolute fan of football (AC Milan fan of 00's) and after Rossoneri collapsed for some years and football becoming more of giant World trading spending money, lost interest little at little for soccer. And suddenly, booouuuum. Warriors arrived against Denver. PO 2013.. That was THE revelation for me. This team and this guy and this team would become my favorite of all-times..of any sports..like a flash. I knew it..something special to follow.. 9 years after..i couldn't of dream better..this run overpass everything in sport that i followed ever since. Sorry for bad english.
I think we all need to appreciate how well Jimmy makes these videos. Just the little things like the end of this video just make you feel great inside. One of my favourite PLcliprs by far. Chur Jimmy
I'm Australian and not a huge fan of basketball but Jxmy's videos have single handedly got me super interested in the NBA and both its players and teams. Your videos are not only extremely entertaining, but insanely creative, well explained, and most of all, captivating to watch. Incredible work and thank you for sharing the results of your incredible talent and hard work
I think Steve Kerr deserves a ton of credit as well. Guys just a winner it's crazy everywhere he goes he just wins. And I think the reason curry developed into the player he is today is because of Kerr he was a great 3pt. Shooter as well and I think that helped alot. Also Wiggins deserves a lot of credit for showing that it doesn't matter how u start your career but how u finish it (not that he's done) but from bust to the player he is now is unheard of I feel like
@Carl Cabaliw steph won’t retire with 7 rings, likely only 5 and 6 at most. And lebron won’t win another chip, hate to break it to you but he and the lakers as a whole are too old and injury prone.
Man, I've got to say that I'm kinda bummed the season is done. Your videos this year have been crazy good. I always appreciate getting the notification that you've thrown another up. Great job, keep it up buddy.
I’m not a warriors fan by any stretch, but this years warriors team had to be one of my favorite teams of the last decade. It was a near perfect mix of great young talent and stellar veteran players.
Well don't forget after they lost the play in and he said "You don't want to see us next year" like who the f--k says the things he's said and hit the nail on the head twice, that man has a powerful tongue to speak things into existence right before our very eyes and I'll never forget this finals and the entire season of all his accomplishments, never seen anything like it for a player to break records and receive that many awards and win the championship all in one season, it's completely unreal and it doesn't make sense at all smh
Watching these videos by Jimmy I feel genuine happiness, there are very few things on the internet that I genuinely enjoy but when your videos pop up in my recommendations I feel my chest swell with excitement and and when watching I wish I had played basketball in school. Thank you jimmy you really are the goat.
Man oh man Jxmy! You continue to make the highest quality, most cerebral, and yet also the most visceral sports content on the web. You sir, are an example of someone who is destined to be bigger than the genre.
@Milan954 the warriors were not great without him. Are you just choosing to ignore that the warriors win 32% more when Steph is playing or is your profession Steph curry hater.
@Milan954 what did the clippers do when they were healthy, the nets were healthy and still got swept by the celtics LMAO . every championship team beats injured teams in every championship run, that's just how basketball is with a long ass season. take a look at warriors stats in the finals with curry on and off the floor please.
I agree with you about Curry, but the influence of Kerr as a coach has a lot to do with Curry's performance and the GSW main team formation. The same relation than Phil Jackson, the Bulls and MJ.
🧢 When curry didn't have Klay or iggy. He was losing by 50 before the third quarter. The Pandemic saved Curry legacy. Not only was he getting blown out, he was shooting inefficient and giving the ball away heavy. While getting cooked on D. Even in the 2019 Finals. Raptors shut that offense down. When KD came all of sudden Curry could shot again.
Fixed. Warriors got a lot of officiating help. The NBA sells more Warriors merch. This was not as bad as the Lakers bubble championship but also tainted.
Curry really rise to the occasion this playoffs. He already learned how to carry a team esp when it counts the most. Warriors bringing the chip again next year.
7:59 I agree with you all of those guys have one thing in common they were the reason their team won championships some more direct than others but without them no championship will happen. After this season I think curry is in top ten and that’s coming from a Cleveland boy who cried when we won the chip in ‘16 KD hasn’t won on a team without 4 other allstars in the lineup, the rest of them got the work done by enhancing the team KD is like a hermit crab he doesn’t crest he moves in
I really love seeing team basketball win over individual greatness (not discounting curry) but like you said it was a long shot and team play is so fun to watch
Great episode, you overlooked Udonis Haslem as being the oldest player though, being 3+ years older than Iguodala as you mentioned at 5:55. But keep it up, great episodes to watch. Enjoy your style.
Lmao Curry is an Amazing player but he not top 10. Top 15 at bEst. Don't let him being exposed in 2020 go missed or missing the playoffs in his prime x2 years. Or the fact that he can't even make the playoffs without Iggy/Klay and several good to decent role players. Yes Curry resume is impressive but he missed the playoffs what x4 times. Was a ok PG, then became a undersize SG who a liability on defense under Kerr for the first 5 years. Not to mention he was just Bad for like 4 months of this season. He was getting carried by his team for alot of games in the regular season and in the first round. Dude had one Good finals, now he top 10. He was the face of the 3 ball era not the driving force. Couldn't even win FMVP in 2018, when it was clear his team was trying to help him including KD. Been outplayed by Kyrie in all finals meeting. The first time he faced a all time great defense with a great playoff performer. He lost easily. 2016 Cavs we're very good on defense with x2 Stars. And he lost in choking fashion. He only can play one way. If he not in the Kerr offensive system. He would be a turnover prone, defensive liability, poor decision making PG who got buckets. Not to mention he in the most watered down expansion era in basketball history. All the international leagues are harder to play In. Defenses are handcuff to the T. And he still couldn't win more than 1 FMVP or have better outings in the finals. Curry great but he is had his limitations. He is a modern version of Pistol Pete and Gail Goodrich. He not better than Oscar. He 16th on my list.
@Max 43 i don’t think wilt is better than curry but wilt is the strongest player/ most athletic player in nba history . He would be Giannis if he played in today games lol
@Maple_Jordan Stop talking about how rules are different today than then. Are you saying humans, especially athletes don't have the capacity to adapt? Holy crap the amount of underestimating you did to 60s-70s stars.
The best basketball channel on yt!!!!! Love how unbiased you are when talking about this team. I’m from the bay and I’m heartbroken to see the shit people say about this championship, which didn’t make sense to me at all. Sure the 2 championships with KD makes sense with the hate but this one?! I don’t understand why they hate now
There really is something to be said about a player arriving at a team with no championship DNA and essentially infusing them with championship DNA. Steph changed the entire personality, ethic, and culture of the Warriors organization--and so while these statistics are, to an extent, baffling...lowkey...kinda makes mad sense.
@Klevens Ofc I am does it look like I give a fuck? The Warriors have pissed me off since the beginning Curry's arrogance, Draymond being a complete prick, Steve Kerr being a prick and their toxic ass fanbase. Can't wait for their dynasty to end.
Curry is my favorite active player in the NBA. Him winning another ring without Durant, while also finally receiving a FMVP definitely did a ton for his legacy. I think it cemented him in the top 15, and put him near the actual top 10. However, having him skyrocket to no.7 is ludicrous. Even if we take Bill and Wilt out of the conversation, there's still Hakeem, Timmy, and Shaq. And I'm sorry, but there is no way in hell you can rank Curry above someone like Duncan. Unless you heavily (and I mean heavily) value overall "influence" like inspiring players, changing the game etc. Which, I mean... fair play I guess. Duncan has almost double Curry's All-Star and All-NBA appearances. While also having 15 All-Defensive appearances (compared to Curry's zero). He has 5 titles to Curry's 4, 3 FMVP's to Curry's 1. While also matching Curry is both MVP's (2) and All-Star MVP's (1). He lacks scoring or rebounding titles compared to Curry's 2 scoring titles. But he does have a ROTY which Curry doesn't. Now I could also go into a bunch of other stats. But at the end of the day Duncan was miles and miles (and miles) ahead of Curry defense wise, and that alone should not make this a contest. Shaq as well almost doubles Curry in All-Star and All-NBA appearances. While also having a few All-Defensive selections. He matches Curry in titles (4), beats him at FMVP's (3), AS MVP's (3 to 1). Has a ROY, and 2 scoring titles. And although he only has the one MVP he was at his prime one of the most dominant players of ALL TIME. Now he wasn't as good as Duncan defensively. But again, due to defense, I don't really think this is a contest (although it is closer). Hakeem... Well, he was just one of those players who you had to see play. But even then, I'll list of his accomplishments - 12 All-Star and All-NBA appearances, along with 9 All-Defensive ones. While also having 9 All-Defensive selections along with x2 DPOY; x3 BLK and x2 TRB leader. And although he "only" has 2 rings. He has 2 of the most impressive, and statistically hardest rings in the entire history of the NBA - Along with 2 FMVP to go with them. Apart from Magic, Curry is the worst defender on that list by a mile, and that has to count for something given that it's half of the game - And keep in mind that we are talking about the best of the best here. He is definitely better than KD though. That isn't even a debate after finally got a FMVP.
@L A people have bad games lol. I remember a eastern conference finals game where LeBron scored 2 points in the first half and like 6 in the game and *everyone* was on his ass 😂
@L A Yes one of the youngest teams in the nba going from the 11th seed to nba finals is considered “overrated.” Yes they had two bad games in the finals, but they ain’t overrated. Learn basketball lol
Before the season ended, and Steph, Klay and Dray, were finally on the court at the same time. Draymond also said that it didn't matter their seeding or where they played, they were going to win a championship.
To be honest it was honestly not only then shooting the ball that allow them to win. Their defence have been incredibly way better than what it was b4 as u can realise they opposing team that plays against warriors doesn't rly score that much
@3FWDT Depends on what you value. Recency bias is a factor here too. Russell 11 rings, 5x MVP; Wilt dominated his position on both ends more than Curry dominates his. Curry will never disrupt an opposing team's offense the way Wilt did.
@Surreal Well its all just opinions at the end of the day, Curry may not be a top 10 player for you just like Russell and Wilt are not top 10 for me 🤷🏼♂️
@3FWDT Nah. In not much of an order: Jordan Kareem LeBron Magic Bird Shaq Wilt Duncan Russell Kobe Not yet for Curry. But he is close. I get that to be a fan is to be biased, but for me, I'm able to separate the two enough.
@Golden Sniper Agreed. Kobe is overrated. He always had a dominant big on his team. He was done after Shaq carried him 3x until Gasol showed up. Management always made sure he had a great team around him. No wonder he never had to leave LA. But even still, he is a top ten player of all time. Magic won 3 FMVP with the Lakers, Kareem one FMVP with Lakers. So, yeah... Curry is 1/4 for FMVP. That's why Curry shouldn't be compared to those two.
@Surreal I swear you're the only "Warriors fan" who thinks he's not a top 10 player, but Steph is a top 10 player without a doubt and anyone who thinks otherwise is just a hater
@Alkis Tsogas i agree with you that some players have been influenced by curry's game. i'm just not gonna sit up here and say kerr and steph were the only two who thought "let's shoot more threes" while 31 other professional teams had no clue of analytics or efficiency, and then after steph wins second mvp, 31 teams of executives, coaches and players all said, "hey, look what kerr and steph are doing, let's copy them." lol it's just a ridiculous notion
@Brian Erwin Look I could go on and on about how players have been influenced by Curry's game but I don't see any reason why since both of us are set in our on opinions so agree to disagree
@Alkis Tsogas the only guys shooting logo threes are steph and dame, sometimes trae. for 99% of the league, it's still a bad shot, which is further proof steph is his own player and hasn't changed anything. if he did, you would be able to easily name 20 players that shoot logo 3s off the dribble. show me all the 6' guys leading their teams to championships, and show me all the recruitment going on for 6' logo three point shooters. it's not there. and the idea that kids idolize steph is also more media propaganda. "now you go in the gym and see all these kids shooting 3s" the silly jargon that comes out of the mouth of some journalist who never played high school or college ball. if you played basketball, you would know plenty of us were shooting long distance 3s back in the early 2000s. the numbers you mentioned just prove there was already an upward trend. twice as much in half the time is not an exponential jump, just shows the league as a whole was catching on. mchale and harden were jacking up 3s before kerr and steph, so it was not singularly caused by steph. he was a part of a whole process.
i'm not a warrior fan at all, but i love this championship for them. not much u can say about it, the opposing team didnt have any crazy injuries, no kd, just that core doing what that core does. they proved to the world that, that core is just as valuable with or without kd. love that
when you watch your team build an entire defensive game plan around one dude just for him to average 30 and hoist the finals mvp you’re forced to sit back and admire what just happened. C’s are a young team they’ll be back no doubt abt it
Been a Warriors fan since Run TMC so enjoy every winning season's let alone the championship 🏆 runs has been great to see. Dubs let's cherish this run it was long overdue #GOGSW
As a person who grew up loving basketball in the late 80's and 90's, I would be interested in seeing you talk about how different PG's affected their team's play. (i.e. Isisah Thompson, John Stockton, Gary Payton, etc.)
Though those PG you mention. Stockton was great, but all he had was his ability to run the offense as a floor general. He is a liability in defense. Isiah thomas can do both ends in the court and can lead his team. Great floor general, but isn't a consistent shooter. Gary was a lock down defender which helps his team to turn around the game when it matters the same as what Gary payton 2 (his son) does for the warriors.
I'd say steph is above all them. Including magic. Don't get me wrong magic is great, but curry is different. He can score anywhere consistently and give 25 points even with less time with high assist. At most he can give 30 every game. He can run the ball like a floor general and run offense and pass anywhere. Thing is he can score and gets a double or triple team most of the time which draws defense to him and makes space for his team. Hell they are even more scared when he doesn't have the ball.
And you have to give a lot of credit to Steve Kerr for this dynasty. His system and how he has gotten the new role players to understand their roles is incredible
@MIC FLEO last time I checked he had all these guys on the bench, go back and look. They wouldn't be this good if Mark Jackson remained coach. You keep gassing him up! SMH
As a Rockets fan, I remember hating the Warriors and damn near praying on their downfall a few years ago. If you would’ve told me during the 2017 and 2018 playoffs that I’d be rooting for the Warriors to win it all just a few years later I wouldn’t believe you lol. They’ve definitely proved themselves, especially Curry. Edit for possible clarification: I never thought Curry wasn’t the guy, he revolutionized the game this past decade. Proved as in proved you can build a team to greatness as opposed to buying the team and that he IS the Warriors, at least during this era.
You know it makes me wonder what the Cavs-Golden State face off would've looked like if KD hadn't joined Golden State. Would LeBron and Kyrie have stuck with the Cavs if they stood a chance? Would the two teams have traded another championship? We could've had Larry and Magic back man.
Call me crazy but I actually believe Curry might end up a top five player ever. I truly think he's going to win at least one more championship, maybe two, with the highest end being three more. It's an amazing organization and they know how to build a team. I don't think he'll ever get past magic for the best point guard ever but I do believe he'll be up there with the top tier players ever. His impact and talent will always be spoken of.
I've watched a lot of the playoffs and a bunch of content before/during/after...and a lot of it's been good, and some of it's been great. This one, between the particular things included, the commentary, the pacing, and yeah, the great ending...really excellent, awesome job. And that's the first time I've seen anyone publish the played/didn't impact of the top handful of players...numbers tell part(s) of a story, sometimes a significant part of the story, and sometimes of course people pull out a number here or there that seems to shine a negative light on even the greatest players. That particular number is inarguably a huge indicator of Steph's greatness as everything he is - incredible scorer, incredible makes-teammates-better guy, defense-dismantler, supreme competitor, fabulous lead-by-example guy...the guy is an unbelievable leader in every way, and from everything I've ever seen still a normal, head-on-straight guy who is trying to be a great husband and dad as well. In spite of how all that sounds I'm not into hero-worship or putting players on a pedestal. And there's a TON of credit due also to everyone from Klay, Draymond, Andre, the current players, obviously Kerr, Meyers, Lacob & Gruber, and everyone else in the organization. But dang...the guy has far more than earned his due as every single thing you could want in somebody being THE GUY for your franchise, year after year. All those top-10 and just outside guys obviously are extremely deserving of top 10 rankings...I don't know who I'd leave out of the top 10. But Steph absolutely belongs in every conceivable way. Once again, awesome vid, keep up the great work!
Its not just Curry, all of them are in sync they know where and who will take the shot and most of all they play fairly. No wonder they won. There team is hard to beat now.
Losing GP2 & Porter Jr. are huge loses for GSW! Both players were instrumental in winning the championship. Both players were so efficient with the ball & Porter Jr. was the most accurate 3PT shooter on the team in the finals! I highly doubt GSW can repeat the next year without these players!
@Palitine Boors Oh after reading the rest of your comment I've realized you know nothing about basketball lol. LeBron shot a 52% on 2011 and 37% in his first finals and no one cares about that because he was 22 and shouldn't even have been there lol. No one has ever carried a team like that so no one cares. Anyway it's literally impossible for him to have averaged a combined 35% in those first 2 finals and he definitely averaged more points too so idk where you got those numbers but they're not accurate at all. Fucking casuals man it's sad
Man I'm still having a nightmare about the best record (73-9) wins in NBA history and choked 3-1 lead in 2016 finals and in 2019 finals the warriors had too many injuries to gauge the warriors. Curry would've got 6 rings man
@Deebo Fleebo You need to see a doctor asap. You mention Drexler in the same breath as Curry... He's leagues above all of the players you mentioned except Wade (but still better than him without a doubt).
@Deebo Fleebo curry sets way better and harder screens and guess what??? I just heard his trainer talk and he said steph does over 100lb dumbbells like it’s nothing and he said 255 pounds bench press is easy for him 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 yeeesssssss I told u . Steph is waaaaaaaaaay stronger than Stockton and we just heard it. Thanks for telling me how much Stockton bench press so no we know and it’s great that steph trainer just said that. Good girl! Now get to bed.
@Deebo Fleebo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 please man can u stop dreaming and trying to be funny. You and I both know u don’t even believe that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Kenyon Hay coming off an injury and being injured are diff things lol and he almost carried them he averaged 30 and this year he proved he can carry they would’ve lost in 5 if it weren’t for him maybe even 4 he dominated game 2 and stole game 4 on the celtics home floor where if they lost it would’ve been 3-1 he had a bad shooting game 5 but made his presence known with his playmaking and floor spacing and then in game 6 he dominated the celtics on their home court again
I don't know if I would have Steph in front of Shaq, Duncan or Hakeem but with this Championship he has sneaked into the top 10 for me. Hopefully we get to see more from Chef Curry but I don't think he will ever enter top 5 all time without elite defense.
People talk about how many 3s GSW are banking but it would be amazing to see a video of how much this Warriors team depends on the 3-pointer compared to other teams and if its really such a difference.
Somebody did an interesting conversation: Basically they converted all of the warriors 3 they made in the finals into 2s and they still ended up winning in 6
Yeah.. I was happy for them dudes.. (Hawks Fan) I actually told my Wife I was secretly rooting for them to win cause I wanted Curry to get his first MVP.. Dude puts the work in and plays hard..
The fact that curry said "you don't want to see us next year" is badass lmao. Especially off of one horrible season and a not so good season, in their standards at least.
@Josue didn’t age well
Even more bad ass he meant what he said.
@Josue this didn’t age well
Pshh.....they not gonna win this year ...
@p just watch Jxmy's video, man. Those are stats as well.
We've been saying this man Curry has always been the warriors he is the offense it's unbelievable
Wow you’re a genius for figuring that out
As a Celtics fan I absolutely hated watching Curry slice up my team on the biggest stage, however the pure awe that filled me watching him make the most incredible and smooth plays against a defense that was completely designed around stopping him was miraculous. @Prince DaKing mj had the weakest era of all time the best player he played against in the finals was Gary Payton
@Gary W-l-o-t he’s not…?

@Charles Gherman you better not have Magic, Kareem or Kobe in your top 10 either since they have stacked teams too.
@Gary W-l-o-t you have lost yo mind
I have been a Warriors fan for over 25 years now. Steph Curry is and will always be my favorite player of all time. We are so grateful to see this level of talent in any sport.

@CasualOpal do you have any idea who they were
@John Angelo Perez curry doesn’t have haters he’s well liked across the nba for the most part Shaq n bron n Jordan were way more polarizing
@Quarri exactly. people call curry "not clutch" when Curry dosnt play lots of 4th quarters
That season was legendary. Never seen nothing like it AND he sat out most 4th quarters
you know its about to get real when he whips out the graphs
Dude that ending is fucking FIRE
🔥🔥🔥🔥

I rewinded that shit like 10 times
I wasn't really into basketball, football(soccer) fan, but cause of Steph, I've become a warriors fan. That dude is phenomenal. He does things that makes you question how good one can truly get just by refining their craft.
@tog fanatic Okay kid 😂
wow bandwagon fans assembly ?
I’m from the Bay Area and I’ve never heard someone some him up so aptly
Same for me as all here.
Absolute fan of football (AC Milan fan of 00's) and after Rossoneri collapsed for some years and football becoming more of giant World trading spending money, lost interest little at little for soccer.
And suddenly, booouuuum. Warriors arrived against Denver. PO 2013..
That was THE revelation for me.
This team and this guy and this team would become my favorite of all-times..of any sports..like a flash. I knew it..something special to follow..

Your videos are not only extremely entertaining, but insanely creative, well explained, and most of all, captivating to watch.
Incredible work and thank you for sharing the results of your incredible talent and hard work
Your storytelling and editing is phenomenal. I don't even watch basketball much anymore since the days of Jordan but I watch your stuff
"The Warriors winning the championship is a longshot"
Good thing that's what Curry is best at.
💯
W
Oh yeah he got 4 titles by throw the ball 👀 👀
Awesome
Fax
That was an inspiring video to watch and I'm a Lakers fan. Thanks for sharing how special Steph Curry really is.
I think Steve Kerr deserves a ton of credit as well. Guys just a winner it's crazy everywhere he goes he just wins. And I think the reason curry developed into the player he is today is because of Kerr he was a great 3pt. Shooter as well and I think that helped alot. Also Wiggins deserves a lot of credit for showing that it doesn't matter how u start your career but how u finish it (not that he's done) but from bust to the player he is now is unheard of I feel like
8:07 I like how you ranked Curry exactly where he was selected in his draft class
Don’t bet against them
@Cursin bad team chemistry my ass
@Cursin hella true actually ahahah
@Carl Cabaliw Well he wont get another one its inveitiable especially with bad team chemstiery
@Mine LOL no
@Fuji Syusuuke Bruh you're definitely a kiddo
@Khairul Izzuddin cry bozo
Thank you, People think they have to hate the warriors to love your own team💙💛
Well said💯
"I wouldn't bet against us " 🥶🥶
Freezing cold statement man great ending🔥
Well don't forget after they lost the play in and he said "You don't want to see us next year" like who the f--k says the things he's said and hit the nail on the head twice, that man has a powerful tongue to speak things into existence right before our very eyes and I'll never forget this finals and the entire season of all his accomplishments, never seen anything like it for a player to break records and receive that many awards and win the championship all in one season, it's completely unreal and it doesn't make sense at all smh
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY... IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
I would love to see you break down your top 10 list and explain why you have those players ranked in that order
A masterclass in how to produce great content. The ending gave me chills.
What an absolute mic drop of an ending
Unbelievable work on this. I have a whole new respect for Steph, and I'm a HUGE Celtics fan.
Jxmy doesn’t just make youtube videos he make cinematic masterpieces that send chills down your spine.
You’re exaggerating icl

@dyu you’re either 12 or your personality is tiktok comments
yea, im having goosebumps for 12 min
Love this take! Curry needed to do what he did this season to get the respect he now, undoubtedly deserves.
Watching these videos by Jimmy I feel genuine happiness, there are very few things on the internet that I genuinely enjoy but when your videos pop up in my recommendations I feel my chest swell with excitement and and when watching I wish I had played basketball in school. Thank you jimmy you really are the goat.
Great presentation as always, Jimmy. You always make a compelling and entertaining case.
Man oh man Jxmy! You continue to make the highest quality, most cerebral, and yet also the most visceral sports content on the web. You sir, are an example of someone who is destined to be bigger than the genre.
This man is consistently putting out probably the best sports content out there, massive props to you Jimmy
@Milan954 the warriors were not great without him. Are you just choosing to ignore that the warriors win 32% more when Steph is playing or is your profession Steph curry hater.
@Milan954 your a casual bro just stop 😂he has one bad game out of 6 and averaged 31.2 shot 48% from the field-6-5 you trippin
@Milan954 what he not meat riding lebum enough?
@Milan954 what did the clippers do when they were healthy, the nets were healthy and still got swept by the celtics LMAO . every championship team beats injured teams in every championship run, that's just how basketball is with a long ass season. take a look at warriors stats in the finals with curry on and off the floor please.
@Milan954 I feel like he’s underrated
I agree with you about Curry, but the influence of Kerr as a coach has a lot to do with Curry's performance and the GSW main team formation. The same relation than Phil Jackson, the Bulls and MJ.
@Janaiah Poole, Wiggins, and them were carrying Steph during his slump
🧢 When curry didn't have Klay or iggy. He was losing by 50 before the third quarter. The Pandemic saved Curry legacy.
Not only was he getting blown out, he was shooting inefficient and giving the ball away heavy. While getting cooked on D. Even in the 2019 Finals. Raptors shut that offense down. When KD came all of sudden Curry could shot again.
@bagchaser32 Just like MJ at the Bulls
They play around him not the other way around lol
Steph is literally the warriors tho …
the production value and effort put into this mans videos has me hooked, keep up the great work!
Fixed. Warriors got a lot of officiating help. The NBA sells more Warriors merch. This was not as bad as the Lakers bubble championship but also tainted.
You continue to put out some of the best put together videos and I love it!! Keep the great work up, the ending had me in awe
The last minute of this video just cements how great you are even as just an editor. I got chills at the end. Another great video man. Well done 💯
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY... IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
I was indifferent to it
@Juan luis Tejada 😭😭
Bro i screamed without the s when i saw that holy shit
I teared up from that editing at the end there and said “damn”
Truly masterful content he brings us.
Curry really rise to the occasion this playoffs. He already learned how to carry a team esp when it counts the most. Warriors bringing the chip again next year.
This was a great video that really could help open a lot of people's eyes on how truly impactful Steph Curry is.
7:59 I agree with you all of those guys have one thing in common they were the reason their team won championships some more direct than others but without them no championship will happen. After this season I think curry is in top ten and that’s coming from a Cleveland boy who cried when we won the chip in ‘16 KD hasn’t won on a team without 4 other allstars in the lineup, the rest of them got the work done by enhancing the team KD is like a hermit crab he doesn’t crest he moves in
This Warriors team is a perfect example of how an incredibly smart and supportive coaching team can create a dynasty.
Thanks for watching and showing love.
Congratulations 🎁🎈you have been shortlisted for a prize !!! Send me a text above to acknowledge your prize .
The impact Steph has really says it all.
I really love seeing team basketball win over individual greatness (not discounting curry) but like you said it was a long shot and team play is so fun to watch
"You don't wanna see us next year!" Ooof, that gave me chills! Curry is a fucking king!
@Emanuel Sagan notice how he didn't respond to you? maybe he has a life but idk that's just me.🤷
Copy and paste someone else's comment? get a life.
Great episode, you overlooked Udonis Haslem as being the oldest player though, being 3+ years older than Iguodala as you mentioned at 5:55. But keep it up, great episodes to watch. Enjoy your style.
It’s about time people start looking at Curry as a top 10 player of all time. Well done, Jimmy.
@Adam-Clayton Powell VI I’m not reading all that shit lmfao he didn’t get exposed in 2020 he broke his hand 🤡
@Adam-Clayton Powell VI tell me your an old head without telling me your an old head
I don’t understand why they hate now
Man I NEED to say this: THE ENDING GIVE ME TEARS TO MY EYES!, all time video right here! A master class os youtube in front of your eyes.
You continue to put out some of the best put together videos and I love it!! Keep the great work up, the ending had me in awe
There really is something to be said about a player arriving at a team with no championship DNA and essentially infusing them with championship DNA. Steph changed the entire personality, ethic, and culture of the Warriors organization--and so while these statistics are, to an extent, baffling...lowkey...kinda makes mad sense.
Within 8 years, the Warriors went from a team in the finals 5 years in a row, to a team at the top of the lottery, to a championship team again. Wow.
@Klevens Ofc I am does it look like I give a fuck? The Warriors have pissed me off since the beginning Curry's arrogance, Draymond being a complete prick, Steve Kerr being a prick and their toxic ass fanbase. Can't wait for their dynasty to end.
@Flynn D Warriors hater😂
Probably rigged the fucking draft lottery no way does a team like the Warriors suddenly get the 2nd pick smh
Random question... Which team would wins in 7 games,
2014 spurs vs 2016 cavs
@Duke on Wheels They won a chip cuz Ja got injured , he would send their bitchas5 packing otherwise.
If he get another season MVP and FMVP , he will absolutely cemented himself in TOP 10
That isn't even a debate after finally got a FMVP.
watching this year playoffs Golden State reminded me of Chicago Bulls from 98 and how fun watching a game can be
Steph is truly a once in a generation talent.
It’s honestly crazy how close your prediction was to the Celtics winning the Finals
@Joseph Mother bad games every game? LMAO don't let tatum box score fool you🤣 go watch full game
@L A people have bad games lol. I remember a eastern conference finals game where LeBron scored 2 points in the first half and like 6 in the game and *everyone* was on his ass 😂
@internal “You reach, I teach.” Michael Jordan.
@internal Overrated. Tatum looked liked one of those rejects that only made it to those And1 Mixtape games.
@L A Yes one of the youngest teams in the nba going from the 11th seed to nba finals is considered “overrated.” Yes they had two bad games in the finals, but they ain’t overrated. Learn basketball lol
It’s crazy how great he plans these videos and how much of an impact his words make man, so entertaining! Keep doing your thing👏🏽
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY... IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
As a Celtics fan you could tell it was experienced vs non experienced. Can’t believe we made the finals tho
What a joy Steph and the Warriors are to watch. Reminds me of the love i had for bball as a kid.
Dude, I appreciate basketball but watching your videos honestly make me love basketball even more.
that ending was something out of a 30 for 30!!! jimmy never misses!!!
Yeah that ending was awesome
agreed!
Before the season ended, and Steph, Klay and Dray, were finally on the court at the same time. Draymond also said that it didn't matter their seeding or where they played, they were going to win a championship.
To be honest it was honestly not only then shooting the ball that allow them to win. Their defence have been incredibly way better than what it was b4 as u can realise they opposing team that plays against warriors doesn't rly score that much
As a Warriors fan since 2015, I am so proud of this group. I know Steph needed this FMVP to cement his place in the 11-15 range all time. Congrats!
@3FWDT Depends on what you value. Recency bias is a factor here too. Russell 11 rings, 5x MVP; Wilt dominated his position on both ends more than Curry dominates his. Curry will never disrupt an opposing team's offense the way Wilt did.
@Surreal Well its all just opinions at the end of the day, Curry may not be a top 10 player for you just like Russell and Wilt are not top 10 for me 🤷🏼♂️
@3FWDT Nah. In not much of an order:
Jordan
Kareem
LeBron
Magic
Bird
Shaq
Wilt
Duncan
Russell
Kobe
Not yet for Curry.
Bro! This video is art! You killed it....I appreciate you man! The commentary, the edits, the music, the timing ..SUPERB!!
I salute you!
You do not earn the title "he changed the game" without being in the top 10 of all time, steph has earned his place, and i am so proud of him
@Andrew Polcyn he definitely influenced the deep 3 lol hatin ass nigga, even actual nba players say he did
@BasedGod Montymont curry didn’t create or influence the three either tf??
Jxmy should sign a 10 day contract with ESPN so we can hear his greatness jn national television.
i'm not a warrior fan at all, but i love this championship for them. not much u can say about it, the opposing team didnt have any crazy injuries, no kd, just that core doing what that core does. they proved to the world that, that core is just as valuable with or without kd. love that
I watch the NBA for 30 years. The two best players I've ever seen were Jordan and Olajuwon. But Curry is certainly on the short list
Congrats on one of the most if it's not the most beautifull basketball youtube video dor an NBA player. Gave me literal chills
Not even my Celtics fandom can make me overlook what this dude's done. The winning impact he makes is insane. Great video as always, Jxmy
when you watch your team build an entire defensive game plan around one dude just for him to average 30 and hoist the finals mvp you’re forced to sit back and admire what just happened. C’s are a young team they’ll be back no doubt abt it
100% agreed
plclip.com/video/evYQvqhmvNU/wideo.html
For real..without Steph Curry Marcus smart could be focused on the scheme/Team defense and setting up everyone else. The impact would have been huge.
this was fantastic! i don't like how steph doesn't get enough credit in the mainstream media; the guy is incredible.
This Episode Gave Me Goosebumps 🫡
Amazing video. Phenomenal GOAT status player in Curry, thanks for putting this together
I just can’t get over how good your videos are man. Goat level content
This might have been the best Documentary of a basketball dynasty I’ve seen. Props to you
You should make a video showing the most one sided finals series ever. The finals that had two teams that were not good matchups, unlike this year.
2018
And you have to give a lot of credit to Steve Kerr for this dynasty. His system and how he has gotten the new role players to understand their roles is incredible

@Ian Emmanuel Chu facts. someone finally telling the truth about GS.
@Reject Thank you people talking about mark Jackson, when Bob Myers actually saw the talent in Curry, dray, Klay and selected them.
When Jimmy laughed i just had to laugh along cos it gave me a certain satisfaction that u should nva count out Steph
I admit that I love Jx videos, but the end of this one, was the best ever.
Its not just Curry, all of them are in sync they know where and who will take the shot and most of all they play fairly. No wonder they won. There team is hard to beat now.
Man that last minute of this video shows how far you've come and how great this channel is , excellent production. Keep it up,
As a lifelong Cavs and Lebron fan, Curry has earned my respect. ✊ Can’t ignore what he’s done on the court.
Can’t agree more
DRAWING STEPHEN CURRY... IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!
the 2016 finals were rigged, just saying
I love how he makes every video seem like a documentary about the player or the team definition of taking pride in ur work🔥💪🏽💯
Thanks for watching and showing love.
Congratulations 🎉🎈you have been shortlisted for a prize !!! Send me a text above to acknowledge your prize .
“They can’t win without Kevin Durant”
I say Kevin Durant CAN’T WIN without Stephen Curry and the Warriors. There, fixed it whoever said that.
Man I'm still having a nightmare about the best record (73-9) wins in NBA history and choked 3-1 lead in 2016 finals and in 2019 finals the warriors had too many injuries to gauge the warriors. Curry would've got 6 rings man
My man Jimmy.. you stay putting out bomb ass videos. Keep on playa ! Givin us chills
Thanks for watching and showing love.
Congratulations 🎉🎈you have been shortlisted for a prize !!! Send me a text above to acknowledge your prize .
glad others also see steph as top 10 all time. he's not done yet either :)
@Luca Drexler can actually carry a team to the Finals, Steph wasn't crap before Klay and isn't crap when Klay injured
My respect for Jimmy just went up. He got Kobe ranked top 5
This guy just makes the most insane basketball videos ever… Thank you jimmy
People talk about how many 3s GSW are banking but it would be amazing to see a video of how much this Warriors team depends on the 3-pointer compared to other teams and if its really such a difference.
Somebody did an interesting conversation:
Basically they converted all of the warriors 3 they made in the finals into 2s and they still ended up winning in 6
We can all agree that it was amazing to see Klay win a chip in his first season back and Curry getting his first FMVP
@Osvaldo R
🤣
No I didn’t moron! I picked the Celtics in 7 vs. Memphis… 🤦🏼♂️
