Wow warriors beat the odds. they are 4-10 against the teams that they face in the playoffs during regular season yet they prove that championship DNA and eagerness to comeback after past 2 horrific years.
@• ThatMadLad • no. the nuggets were missing THREE starters. grizzlies missed Ja AND brooks for half the series. Mavs were missing tim hardaway jr, whom scores enough to pull the lead of every warriors win in that series back to no lead celtics had williams III playing on a torn meniscus, and tatum apparently had a fractured wrist
I love how the video always mentioned Warriors but never actually being considered as contenders like they are just up there because of the previous seasons. They are a big question mark against all odds.
The regular season never had all their big 3 playing together, so it wasn't really against all the odds Plus remember before Draymond got injured, they were clear of every team in the NBA
Damn, so close! Warriors are one of those teams though that doesn’t have to have a great season but as long as they’re healthy for playoffs, they can defy the odds.
@ fun master ay it was looking rough for last half of season. they were about .500 win percentage. ya they didnt have one key player or another at that time, but .500 kinda sucks for a team that won a chip. i mean if tim duncan got injured, i dont think they go .500, they go .600 to .700
They didn't fully defy odds. Their start is more accurate to who the team was. They had a lot of injuries and bringing back klay wasn't a seemless fit so they had a bad second half but after klay found his place and Wiggins figured out his new role, and they were healthy they were the best team.
The problem with the numbers only is it doesn't account for injuries. For example, the Warriors never had a full team until game 1 of the playoffs. So their numbers used were lower than they should have been.
Plus it doesn't account for morale and momentum more or less which is sometimes something you can only feel or notice by watching the games and seeing the players live. Booker trash talking luka, knowing luka or other situations with curry or klay or whoever, that difference in play won't come up in statistics but might be visible
Here a day before game 5 of the finals and the Warriors and Celtics are tied at 2-2. If Curry, Poole, and Wiggins weren’t all finding new levels of greatness at the same time, Boston might be running away with this. What is insane, though was the fall of the Suns. Anyway, great video, man.
AS A CELTICS FAN…I’m proud of the warriors, oddly satisfied that my team learned their lesson of 20 tos a game doesn’t win championships. Also sad cuz Jimmy didn’t pull of the mad prediction. Also Jaylen Brown fought til the end, JayT is still learning.
The turnovers were surprising. Especially after that magical, "we can't miss" game 1 where Boston was essentially perfect and warriors were almost perfect!
And this shows that stats isnt really everything.. its still what happens on the court.. but i love your assessment and hardwork putting this up.. thank you
Jimmy is the goat. His videos probably take so much effort and time. If you’re reading this jimmy we all appreciate you. You have the best basketball content on PLclip!!
Think about it. Celtics have beaten KD and the Nets, Giannis and the Bucks, and Jimmy and the Heat, and are currently facing one of the greatest teams in this era. If they win it all. It's not just a great prediction come true, It is arguably the greatest NBA Playoff run that I can remember. If they win and this can be proven with numbers, I hope Jimmy makes a video of it.
Which I think why they lost. if you had to go up against KD, Giannis, Jimmy Butler, and then the WARRIORS of all teams in the finals. them losing isnt really that disgraceful in my opinion. any team would be gassed.
@Alpha Macho Mavs almost got swept in the conference finals. This celtics finals run, if they win, IMO would be one of the most difficult and greatest finals runs EVER.
All things considered, the fact that you narrowed down to 5 teams and GSW and the Celtics were in it was impressive in itself. And the Celtics were favored to win despite Curry being the best player in that series. I hope you do this every year because it was fun to see.
Revisiting this before Game 2 of the Finals and the C's are a great pick. The C's & Warriors showed up in all 3 of the metrics you chose, which shows they did well to predict the teams to make it to the Finals at least. As a C's fan I am hoping you're right
I'm rooting for Celtics just because of this prediction. Hey Jimmy, I swear you gotta brace yourself for a big leap in your career once the C's win it all. You got this. 💪
The big issue in comparing all these stats in finals is that the teams come from 2 different conferences and play mainly different teams so it is not an equal comparison. Look at how strong the West was for years!
He’s not the only Jimmy that never fails to entertain, just look at what Jimmy Butler has done in the playoffs before I wouldn’t be surprised if the Heat won the title
This prediction is still solid. After all who could predict a record number of turnovers from a young all star. Not making excuses, just saying some times that human factor can get you. Hope to see another prediction from you next year!
Just finished watching the finals and I gotta say you were hella close. Way better than any big time analysts. I picked the warriors tho but my odds were a lot easier so shout out to you for your pick
I wish our suns didn't flop cause I wanted to see us play the warriors. I woulda at least felt a lot better about this season if we lost to a dynasty rather than the mavs
I’m glad you made this. I know R-Studio, but am also currently learning SQL with the hopes of running analyses like these. I find data analytics in sports super interesting, even if I do think it has made the game predictable and boring in some ways.
I would absolutely love to see these same metrics used to see their validity against previous years. What would they have predicted since 2000?? That's a stats video I'd pay to see
@NewtonBS To be completely honest I forgot about this comment/idea until recently. I am currently working on a video for the past 20 years though, and at the end of the 2022-23 season I'm going to make a video predicting a champion. didn't think I'd get anywhere close to 100 likes at the time
Jxmy, after watching this video I put $50 each on the Celtics and Warriors, at 6:1 and 4:1 odds respectively. Now I have a guaranteed win and it's all thanks to your hard work. Thanks dude 😁
What Mavericks did in 2011 was just pure determination, they really wanted the championship and they got it against all the odds, every single player on Mavericks roster that year really wanted it! Well deserved.
@Django Unchained Draymond never cried to KD, that's long been debunked. And Draymond never said he could not beat Lebron. He just beat Lebron the previous year in 2015. LOL. The only person making conspiracy theories is you. And your conspiracy theories don't even make sense. The Cavs lost to the Warriors without KD. They lost to the Warriors with KD. He couldn't even make the playoffs this year with the team HE chose. Get Lebron's poop off your lips boy. You've kissed the fake kings butt far too long.
@Django Unchained who cares? Kobe isn’t the GOAT. Lebron has 4 championships but always needed multiple all stars with at least one of them scoring 23ppg. Jordan won championships with the second best player only scoring 14ppg. Jordan never came up small. Lebron has shrunk and come up short multiple times. Ray Allen saved his legacy, otherwise he’d only have 3 championships. The pandemic gave him one of those too, he should only really have 2. Lebron is a classic underachiever.
@mr blob weak minded with 4 championships lmao nobody cares my thing I've watched NBA longer than most y'all and I've seen guys have way worse series , kobe choked to Detroit in 2004 lost a 3-1 series to a team that got swept by Dallas afterwards 🤣🤣 but he still my favorite player kawahi lost a 3-1 series and dropped 10 in game 7 , to a team LeBron swept , LeBron lost to Dallas in 2011 finals in 6 games yeah he averaged 18ppg but atleast he dropped 26 on the close out game lmao yall repeat skip Bayless and forget , heck kobe dropped 2 points in a finals game before doesn't matter you guys just can't admit you're full on LeBron haters that discredit everything the dude does /did and at that point I can't take you seriously as a basketball fan
So close! 😂😂😂 The Celtics made it to the finals. That point differential in the regular season doesn't mean a lot though. And it doesn't account for stifling defensive schemes. 🤔🤔🤔
Whatever happens in the finals, We can say that this is one of the best predictions of this season so far. The celtics are in the finals and has a chance to actually win it all.
I'm curious if you'll put out an update video to this one? Did Warriors calculations not consider Klay coming back somewhat healthy? Or the young players gaining more experience every single week?
No disrespect to any of the other teams in the East (I'm a Sixers fan) but the Nets/Celtics series feels A LOT more like a conference finals than a first round series. And yes I know the Bucks could absolutely take out the winner of that matchup. And then the Sixers could absolutely - check that - We haven't been past the second round since I was in grade school so TF am I talking about?
It’s getting down to the wire Jimmy. 🥶 can the Celtics pull a W and keep the finals going. I’m a warriors fan but it’s really an eye opening look at just how good the Celtics are. Mad respect to that team. Let’s go dubs
damn, the prediction was almost accurate. after watching the whole playoff, i think alot of contributing factor that led to a winning team didnt show up at the stats or the scoreboard. injuries are more likely to happen which changes not just the team capabilities but also their mentality. higher physicality in playoff series makes the game just way more different that it was in the regular season. and i guess at the end, the stat play little role in the. finals. the warriors are just hungrier and so desperate for winning more than the celtics. (and also suns choked ultra hard)
Celtics didn't win but Jimmy you were 2 games off from being right when the Celtics had to beat the Nets, bucks and Heat. That was a great prediction 🤣
I always knew it would be warriors bs Celtics in finals when Jimmy uploaded this. I’m a warriors fan. But as a warriors fan so glad we won this and we back on this video Jimmy 😅
Vegas' numbers do account for Kyrie missing time by creating a weighted value for each individual NBA player, rather than using strictly team-based metrics. This is why they currently give the Nets the 4th best odds to win.
@Kent Lee won‘t even make it past the first first round* but apparently the nets choked hard I don’t wanna hear that kd is better than bron ever again in my life
He deserves it just based on the raw effort imo. The raw stats that have to get scraped up, organized and then properly analyzed for these videos must be insane
@Eddy IRATEGEKANYA This is what I meant by #'s being skewed. He can't measure or calculate Finals experience, healthy and injuries and brand of basketball.
@Javier Landaverde the prediciton was accurate, the issue with the warriors is that they only reached their potential in the playoffs so there was no way to have an accurate measure of their Real strength
He was right With the Celtics part there in finals and the other team on here warriors are to this just shows this might be one of the greatest sport predictions ever we’ll done jimmy 👍
The details by Jxmy tho. After using Tatum's clutchness as an argument for why the Celtics could win, he changes the thumbnail of this video to the Celtics celebrating with Tatum after todays game-winner
@Night Ray First of all, spell his damn name right Second, Boston already got past the Nets and the red-hot returning champs and if they get passed the 1 seed, I don’t see how they fall in the finals save for injuries
literally take a look at the clutch in the Celtics last game we were down and we came back and won the game also Horford is clutch too bro was shooting so many 3s at the end of the tame
Looking at this after 2 months, we can see that he got: The 4 conference finalists The 5th team is the one who lost against the future champions Predicted as winners a team that got into the finals and won 2 games Only couldn't predict the Curry factor I'd say more than pretty good for a number driven prediction
3-2 in favor of the Warriors now vs the Celtics so this prediction is still pretty damn close, still not over tho as the saying goes the ball is round.
I think another parameter that was missing for this prediction is their data about how they perform in playoffs. We know and saw that some team are stronger/weaker in playoffs just like warriors and suns respectively.
I just want to say that this video takes almost zero account about the importance of deep playoff/finals experience, and it really showed in the actual results for the season. A young, inexperienced team is one that might choke game 1 due to nerves, crumple under the pressure in crunch time, fold at the expectation to defend home court, and also has no idea the mental fortitude it takes to close out an opposing team for the 'ship. I think that Boston exhibited almost all of these this season. Also, dont forget that analytics get skewed by injuries and slumps and dont take into accout teams that peak during the postseason, or teams/players that can turn it on for the playoffs but cruise during the regular season, like any lebron led team in the past 15 years.
I think the availability of a healthy Robert Williams is the difference in the Celtics losing in the divisional round and playing for a chip.. he’s that important to that defense.
Jimmy! Since I watched this video. I've always watched the Celtics and they're legit will do everything to just win whether it is on the road or home court. You're might be right with this calculation. Personally I believe in this foreal!
should do this equation for every playoffs for the past 20 seasons see which teams are contenders and see who was favored vs who actually won that could give a better idea why those teams won and who could win
Wow this is almost accurate. Boston got to the finals. I was predicting this as well. They have a great combination of players, they can shoot, guard and they are tall and strong, and there you go. They are in the finals.
im glad u take a bite at such predictions for us. thank you!! i say it’s almost always the variables that cannot be graphed or tallied that ultimately decide a champ.
You didnt consider the warriors not having its full strength until the playoffs. But you did mention about external variables such as injuries. Interesting insight and its pretty close prediction so good job nevertheless.
where this went wrong is that there's no real way to quantify the warriors not being at full strength until the playoffs. Klay came back mid way through the season, Draymond was out for several weeks, and steph was also out for a bit. That undoubtedly impacted their score in that last metric. Overall this was quite accurate though.
If the Celtics win the chip this might actually be one if the greatest basketball prediction videos ever. This prediction is getting really close (edit: Didn’t win the ring but it was close, still think Jimmy did a great job on this vid. We couldn’t predict Tatum’s performance and full team choke the Celtics did in the 4th quarter of game 4 🤷🏽♂️)
I love how close to being right you were but i love that you were wrong. I say this because it shows that the numbers can be so close, but when it comes down to the final part numbers can never predict whats gonna happen on the nba court. Your a genius bro amazing video.
This video was absolutely on point an it should have been the only prediction that was right, but it didn't account for one thing: Steph Curry is a cheat code.
All right, Jimmy… you might be on to something.
Regular season doesn’t always matter it’s the playoffs
All the people in the comments rn 😭😭😭😭
@Savitar The God of Speed imagine if you said 6
Wow warriors beat the odds. they are 4-10 against the teams that they face in the playoffs during regular season yet they prove that championship DNA and eagerness to comeback after past 2 horrific years.
Ok but the Celtic did good on regular season but playoffs is a different vibe
The reason why this went wrong was because the Warriors weren’t at full strength until the playoffs.
and tatum choked hard
@• ThatMadLad • no.
the nuggets were missing THREE starters.
grizzlies missed Ja AND brooks for half the series.
Mavs were missing tim hardaway jr, whom scores enough to pull the lead of every warriors win in that series back to no lead
celtics had williams III playing on a torn meniscus, and tatum apparently had a fractured wrist
@Ryuken ong
@Javigar13
I mean Celtics barely beat the Bucks and Heat, and some of their players are injured 👁️👄👁️
Meh i mean the full strenght rating of the warriors put them even lower, also klay in the finlas didnt have that big of an impact
Damn, Almost Jimmy. You should definitely do this every year it makes the playoffs that much more interesting
This year boston still that team
@Tom Cruz bro stfu if it's annoying then just don't watch it
Egzakuri
@Tom Cruz classic Tom Cruz moment
@Tom Cruz it’s really just not
I love how the video always mentioned Warriors but never actually being considered as contenders like they are just up there because of the previous seasons. They are a big question mark against all odds.

@Ares Cresen ya i didnt watch as much
@brians music i dreaded tuning in to dubs games when they went 1-5 after the all star break
@ fun master ay it was looking rough for last half of season. they were about .500 win percentage. ya they didnt have one key player or another at that time, but .500 kinda sucks for a team that won a chip. i mean if tim duncan got injured, i dont think they go .500, they go .600 to .700

thisss. really tough to account for that without going into season and historical stats of individual players and lineups

As a Warriors fan, I appreciate this. It was a great series. 👍
J Tatum will stay learning 😂✌️
He was 2 wins away from redeeming himself from the suns and bucks finals
the numbers didnt account for wiggins locking up tatum lol.
@Jacob Smith way to discredit wiggins
@Jacob Smith true
@Lil Durk he learned from it tho
@Jacob Smith i mean tatum was shooting 29% from two
Or a healthy warriors team
Damn… you were so close to being right.
@JxmyHighroller keep it for this year though
Everyone lakers will win next year I can feel it
@JxmyHighroller do it next year pls I’m telling you it will be the lakers
Shouldve have trusted flight😂
@Jorge Pangan cringe
And this shows that stats isnt really everything.. its still what happens on the court.. but i love your assessment and hardwork putting this up.. thank you
Jimmy literally predicted the finals months before it happened
He was almost right, he should do this again next year.
@Steve James and lost
@Hola hola they were up tho
Almost? Watch last 3 games, warriors destroys celtics easy
I feel like if there were more metrics, he could’ve gotten it...
calling the Celtics (especially Tatum) frauds is disrespectful to GSW’s spectacular defense.
Jimmy is the goat. His videos probably take so much effort and time. If you’re reading this jimmy we all appreciate you. You have the best basketball content on PLclip!!
Truth!
An actuary gets this done in 3 hours.
mhm
true
so true
Think about it. Celtics have beaten KD and the Nets, Giannis and the Bucks, and Jimmy and the Heat, and are currently facing one of the greatest teams in this era. If they win it all. It's not just a great prediction come true, It is arguably the greatest NBA Playoff run that I can remember. If they win and this can be proven with numbers, I hope Jimmy makes a video of it.
@まろいちご I just think they got outplayed
Which I think why they lost. if you had to go up against KD, Giannis, Jimmy Butler, and then the WARRIORS of all teams in the finals. them losing isnt really that disgraceful in my opinion. any team would be gassed.
@ItsCave no
@ItsCave bro, he’s talking about 2011
@Alpha Macho Mavs almost got swept in the conference finals.
LOL my 7-year old brother could narrow it down to 5 teams. It's not a massive achievement.
Crazy how the Celtics will have to beat the Nets and the Bucks before they even get to the conference finals, they have the toughest road by far
@hello Mavs are shit at least Celtics made the finals
@Celtics R Better than any team still lost in the finals though lmao
@Celtics R Better than any team go to sleep buddy curry says so
@Celtics R Better than any team gn. They're done
@hello lmao 🤣 4-3 -109-81
So close Jimmy. Please make this an annual thing! Made following the playoffs far more interesting than the usual shouting back and forth on tv.
This had the potential to be the greatest video of all time.
RIP Boston 😂 😂 😂
The big issue in comparing all these stats in finals is that the teams come from 2 different conferences and play mainly different teams so it is not an equal comparison. Look at how strong the West was for years!
I always love jimmy’s analytics, he just puts them is and talks about it easily. It’s music to my ears
Jimmy never fails to entertain. love these vids with predictions. Enjoy your playoffs and Easter
plclip.com/video/z7aE2IuYiJ0/wideo.html
raptors about to 2 peat
Robert Williams is out
plclip.com/video/j7xnT5CswvQ/wideo.html
He’s not the only Jimmy that never fails to entertain, just look at what Jimmy Butler has done in the playoffs before I wouldn’t be surprised if the Heat won the title
Well, maybe numbers can't predict the future but huge respect for the analysis!
damn they made it to the finals but lost in 6 to the warriors ur so close my guy
This prediction is still solid. After all who could predict a record number of turnovers from a young all star. Not making excuses, just saying some times that human factor can get you.
Hope to see another prediction from you next year!
Pretty spot on, unfortunately the numbers don’t account for klay Steph and dray being pretty much fully back.
Two words. Robert Williams. I feel like he's essential for a Boston championship
essential to LOSE
@Mr. Green Hulk L bozo
This aged well
@ExTrEaMe Dang everything you said has aged poorly so far XD
@Mr. Green Hulk "who gonna guard Kyrie?" how about the literal defensive player of the year XD. they trippin
Jxmy almost had it in the bag. ALMOST. Still tho, this was one of the greatest predictions nonetheless.
Congrats to the Warriors!
Just finished watching the finals and I gotta say you were hella close. Way better than any big time analysts. I picked the warriors tho but my odds were a lot easier so shout out to you for your pick
This prediction was very close but our warriors bested the Celtics
I wish our suns didn't flop cause I wanted to see us play the warriors. I woulda at least felt a lot better about this season if we lost to a dynasty rather than the mavs
I’m glad you made this. I know R-Studio, but am also currently learning SQL with the hopes of running analyses like these. I find data analytics in sports super interesting, even if I do think it has made the game predictable and boring in some ways.

@Will Sheekey all good. Looking forward to it!
@NewtonBS To be completely honest I forgot about this comment/idea until recently. I am currently working on a video for the past 20 years though, and at the end of the 2022-23 season I'm going to make a video predicting a champion. didn't think I'd get anywhere close to 100 likes at the time
@Yungin Yu Am making the historical one right now though! First video so I'm trying to make sure it's perfect to start off my channel with a bang:)
lol
@Yungin Yu i forgot about this comment but I will for sure do one at the end of this season!
This shit still made chill down my spine, jxmy was this close🤏
Who else came back after the warriors won the chip 💀
Jxmy, after watching this video I put $50 each on the Celtics and Warriors, at 6:1 and 4:1 odds respectively. Now I have a guaranteed win and it's all thanks to your hard work. Thanks dude 😁
i mean to be fair this prediction was really close since he predicted this before playoffs
If the Celtics actually win Jimmy deserves a million likes
yah but he didnt.......... he gets half for making the finals
@Flickersz wow
@Jaylen Brown CANCUN FOR BOTH OF YOU SO IT DONT EVEN MATTER.
Warriors just won the championship
warriors bruh
I think about this video every single day. Jimmy is the goat
What now?
Same here!
Same! It just keeps looking more and more like he’s from the future! 😂
Oh hell no aint no way hes 3 wins away from being right 💀
And The Celtics fell in the Finals
Aged good, not bad, not perfect either. They took the Warriors to 6, good job Jimmy
came back to this right after steph lifted his first finals mvp, but jimmy was really close
What Mavericks did in 2011 was just pure determination, they really wanted the championship and they got it against all the odds, every single player on Mavericks roster that year really wanted it! Well deserved.
@Abrudan Alexandru all teams except the Phoenix Suns lol
@Django Unchained Fuck how you feel for real.

me coming back a day after the Warriors beat the Celts in 6 in the Finals: :/
LETS GO BABY WARRIORS WITH THE DUB 💙💛
So close!
😂😂😂
The Celtics made it to the finals. That point differential in the regular season doesn't mean a lot though. And it doesn't account for stifling defensive schemes.
🤔🤔🤔
This aged bad! Congratulations Golden State Warriors 👌🏽🔥🔥🔥 FINALS MVP STEPHEN CURRY
Whatever happens in the finals, We can say that this is one of the best predictions of this season so far. The celtics are in the finals and has a chance to actually win it all.
@Los Revolucionarios this aged well
@Skywalker yeah that was an easy prediction even though the warriors ended up winning, i also had boston winning before the end of the regular season
@Ed Ward Update: You're a clown 🤡
@Emmanuel Espinal nobody believe me anyway 😊
@Skywalker take that L cuh
This was a great take! Was rooting for the Celtics until the end!
Love your videos, sir! Keep it up.
I'm curious if you'll put out an update video to this one? Did Warriors calculations not consider Klay coming back somewhat healthy? Or the young players gaining more experience every single week?
Legend Says Steph Saw this Video after Game 3 lol.
Wow, Jxmy was 96 minutes away from the most unpredictable prediction in a long time
No disrespect to any of the other teams in the East (I'm a Sixers fan) but the Nets/Celtics series feels A LOT more like a conference finals than a first round series. @Joseph Benedict Cinco It went to shit lol
@HeidariReacts Well, your declaration didn't really age well.
@Levi Hahaha Nah, I am good. I honestly thought they had it but Luka Doncic and the Celtics are just that great.
Bucks didn’t take us out
Yall here after this man just jinxed himself 😂😂😂
It’s getting down to the wire Jimmy. 🥶 can the Celtics pull a W and keep the finals going. I’m a warriors fan but it’s really an eye opening look at just how good the Celtics are. Mad respect to that team. Let’s go dubs
*Still a great video, my man! Celtics were so close and you’re defs onto something with your prediction process.* #GoDubs #NbaChamps 👏🏽
We're about 3 games away from this turning into reality but man, that was an awesome prediction!
I'd love to see a Celtics-Suns matchup or a Warriors-Bucks matchup
@Michael Big L.
@Please Don't Do This. L
Celtics win in 6 Cp3 choke artist
@Typical Blakk aaaaaaand the Nets didn’t do shit, just like I knew they would 🤡
@Greysen Gagne a healthy Warriors team is overrated??? That comment aged well
damn, the prediction was almost accurate. after watching the whole playoff, i think alot of contributing factor that led to a winning team didnt show up at the stats or the scoreboard. injuries are more likely to happen which changes not just the team capabilities but also their mentality. higher physicality in playoff series makes the game just way more different that it was in the regular season. and i guess at the end, the stat play little role in the. finals. the warriors are just hungrier and so desperate for winning more than the celtics. (and also suns choked ultra hard)
Celtics didn't win but Jimmy you were 2 games off from being right when the Celtics had to beat the Nets, bucks and Heat. That was a great prediction 🤣
I'm here after the Warriors won. Celtics were close.
@51 lmaooooo
@51 Kd should stay in the west , east is too physical for him
@Kent Lee won‘t even make it past the first first round* but apparently the nets choked hard
I don’t wanna hear that kd is better than bron ever again in my life
@51 What does won't make the first round even mean
@IAmDeshaun Ben has no stats this season to reflect his performance. Just like when he plays in the 4th quarter.
Numbers had to deal with Steph, that man was on a mission. Numbers don't lie, but they don't tell the full story.
Yeah. A cheat code in the formula.
Playoffs experience and injuries must also be considered imo
Bro everytime Boston wins a Game im thinking bout this video. Jimmy u the goat. ESPN WHERE U AT?
Shouts out to Jimmy man . Best basketball youtube analyst this dude has a real talent and knows his hoops .
If this prediction ends up becoming a reality, Jimmy deserves a job in both ESPN AND Fox Sports.
Edit: Jimmy’s still the GOAT 🐐
Well that’s why he still on yt
HAHAHAHAHHAHA
He deserves it just based on the raw effort imo. The raw stats that have to get scraped up, organized and then properly analyzed for these videos must be insane
@Eddy IRATEGEKANYA This is what I meant by #'s being skewed. He can't measure or calculate Finals experience, healthy and injuries and brand of basketball.
@Javier Landaverde the prediciton was accurate, the issue with the warriors is that they only reached their potential in the playoffs so there was no way to have an accurate measure of their Real strength
11:10 well, the numbers didn’t account for WARDELL STEPHEN CURRY 🔥🏆🔥🏆🔥🔥🏆🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆
Who's here after Boston's game 1 win?
He was right With the Celtics part there in finals and the other team on here warriors are to this just shows this might be one of the greatest sport predictions ever we’ll done jimmy 👍
Thank you for the video. My take away was post season experience. Warriors in 7. You are absolutely incredibly talented.
The details by Jxmy tho. After using Tatum's clutchness as an argument for why the Celtics could win, he changes the thumbnail of this video to the Celtics celebrating with Tatum after todays game-winner
Amazing clutchness
@Night Ray First of all, spell his damn name right
Second, Boston already got past the Nets and the red-hot returning champs and if they get passed the 1 seed, I don’t see how they fall in the finals save for injuries
@Night Ray Probably Golden State, but can't count em Dallas out even when they're down 2-0 so yeah lets see
they gon have to get through Golden state or Luca
literally take a look at the clutch in the Celtics last game we were down and we came back and won the game also Horford is clutch too bro was shooting so many 3s at the end of the tame
Looking at this after 2 months, we can see that he got:
The 4 conference finalists
The 5th team is the one who lost against the future champions
Predicted as winners a team that got into the finals and won 2 games
Only couldn't predict the Curry factor
I'd say more than pretty good for a number driven prediction
3-2 in favor of the Warriors now vs the Celtics so this prediction is still pretty damn close, still not over tho as the saying goes the ball is round.
and the Warriors are now 4-2
🏆🏆🏆🏆
AND GSW WINS THE 2022 CHAMPIONSHIP, STEPH CURRY FINALS MVP.
The top 3 teams in the west and east
Two of them always make the NBA finals
As a suns fan this vid just made our loss so much more devastating this year damn
Use me as JIMMY PREDECTED THE 2022 CHAMPS button.
L
You're just 2 games away from correctly predicting the outcome of the Playoffs but then, there's golden state. Grats Warriors!
I think another parameter that was missing for this prediction is their data about how they perform in playoffs. We know and saw that some team are stronger/weaker in playoffs just like warriors and suns respectively.
Dude lowkey trying to break SAS prediction streak.😁
He came close with this one though.👍
@FlamingDev Yeah…SWEEPED
@FearOfTheTrooper lmaoo.. how bout now??
@FlamingDev well...
@FlamingDev this aged well
@FlamingDev already wrong
Jimmy! Since I watched this video. I've always watched the Celtics and they're legit will do everything to just win whether it is on the road or home court. You're might be right with this calculation. Personally I believe in this foreal!
the celtics are up 1-0 in the finals, and if they win the title then you deserve a medal
Stats didnt see Curry going supernova in the finals.
should do this equation for every playoffs for the past 20 seasons see which teams are contenders and see who was favored vs who actually won that could give a better idea why those teams won and who could win
The playoffs this year will be amazing, some emotional losses and some big wins, all in the end I wish everyone the best of luck 🤞
plclip.com/video/z7aE2IuYiJ0/wideo.html
@JACQUEZ JOHNSON yeah but this playoff series i want everyone to win everyone’s been exceptionally good but not everyone can win🥲
@Bryce Paul George just got Covid so rip Clippers...
don't emotional loses and some big wine happens every year
How is this possible?🚨plclip.com/video/O4CAgHNqSg8/wideo.html 🙇🏽🔥🚨🖤🤘🏽
Wow this is almost accurate. Boston got to the finals. I was predicting this as well. They have a great combination of players, they can shoot, guard and they are tall and strong, and there you go. They are in the finals.
Holy cow this vid turned out to be a lot more accurate than I expected... its gonna be legendary if Boston wins
Came back after game 1 victory over warriors by boston in the finals. Would be amazing if you predicted it.
Well never mind
im glad u take a bite at such predictions for us. thank you!!
i say it’s almost always the variables that cannot be graphed or tallied that ultimately decide a champ.
If anything this really shows how impressive the Dallas Maverick’s tittle run really was 🙌
plclip.com/video/z7aE2IuYiJ0/wideo.html
@Jack Astor well right now that’s the estimate he could be out more but it might just be two games
crazyyyyyy, Dirk might be a disappointment way back 2007 but he and Hakeem won two of the best title runs
@first name last name What makes you think he's only going to be out 2 games?
@Jack Astor he’s only gonna be out 2 games and i think we can beat the jazz without him so we still have a chance
Overall this was quite accurate though.
great job doing this, would love for you to do this next season
these numbers does not take count the experience that warriors had, warriors read Celtics like a book in the final series.
Lmao great analogy.
@Wacil Voltaire yeah
They didn’t🤣🤣🤣🤣
NOT.
Good one
Gemantrea effect sports
I love how close to being right you were but i love that you were wrong. I say this because it shows that the numbers can be so close, but when it comes down to the final part numbers can never predict whats gonna happen on the nba court. Your a genius bro amazing video.
This video was absolutely on point an it should have been the only prediction that was right, but it didn't account for one thing: Steph Curry is a cheat code.
