Luka Is literally the Mavs roster atm, sun's has so much more help. And yet STILL got bodied by one man. I can't wait until Luka gets a superstar, great role-player or all-star.
People shouldnt forget where Luka is from, he was playing under pressure while he was teen. South European Fans are vicious and ruthless, they chant and yell insults whole game they make court to vibrate if you go for free shots and to play in thouse conditions for years makes easy to play under pressure in NBA. I will rather worry, uf one day he wishes to go back to home he cant handle pressure there.
@Action Jackson , Also I would love to see Luka just once drive the lane with some passion and intensity and just posterize someone, stuff the ball down some defenders throat and monster dunk someones ass. No fancy layup or reverse ot get fouled and shoot free throws, just dunk on someone for once. Thats what i wanna see from Luka.
@Action Jackson , I respect Lukas abilties to score the ball and get buckets. He is a talented player on the offensive end. I just wish he would get tougher on Defense and start helping protect the paint and get more rebunds. Maybe that will never be his role and all he will be is an elite offensive player, but to me that prevents him from going down as an all time Great. Like MJ, Kobe, KG, Larry Bird.
@Action Jackson , Im glad we can agree that Bird played during the most physical era and todays NBA is super when compared to that era. But I disagree about Bird to be strong or a good defender. Bird had the heart of a lion and was physical. Bird never cried on the bench holding his shoulder like he just got shot, remember when Luka was on the bench grimacing and about to cry in the playoffs.
@M MC And again, I'll use Larry Bird as an example. Luka would cook in any era cause if Bird can become a legend, while not a good defender, then so can someone like Luka. Bird wasn't a strong guy either, but he went through the most physical Era ever. The thing Luka is doing this year and started getting better at last year is playing good team defense. He's getting key steals and blocks this year and that's what Bird used to do.
@Action Jackson , you said it. todays NBA is weak and soft and just about being flashy and getting buckets, no hard nosed defense or grit anymore. Bunch of softies running around trying to dance with the ball, i hate the current NBA.
Steph once had 0 points against the Rockets in the first half, and torched them for 33 in the next half. THAT is how u overcome a rat shit half, not by pouting and giving up...
Booker also complained when he missed a free throw after the Raptors mascot was waving his arms, but one time Larry Bird made a free throw when people in the crowd were holding up pictures of models in a bikini
@infinite infinity it's obv an exaggeration 🤦♂️ euro league crowds are way more passionate because every single game matters because of the short season. They can get mighty Rowdy and start throwing hands and throwing shit in the stands
Brutal takedown, but so true. Funny how the Warriors just cruised past Dallas by making Luka play defense, earn his points with tough defense, and wear him down until he became inefficient in the 4th. Still, with all that, he was hitting big shots right until the end. As a Warriors fan, he was definitely the hardest player to stop that they faced all playoffs. You might not have noticed this, but Draymond and the other Warriors were extremely complimentary to Luka the whole series, even helping him off the ground during live play. They knew which bears to poke and which to avoid.
in this game 7 i bet 10€ that doncic and dinwidie will have both at least 30 poinst the odds were 100 and not only did i watched mavs totally obligirate suns but also wining a cool 1k .. best day in a long time hh
The Suns trash talk has screwed them twice. I think a lot about when Chris Paul said after game 5 of the finals "we know Giannis is going to miss his freethrows we just need to get those rebounds." Then in game 6 Giannis proceeded to only miss two freethrows the entire game in order to win it all.
Steph saying "you don't wanna see us next year" and actually backing those words up the following year is better. But luka's "everybody acting tough when they up" is right up there with it.
Dude - ESPN should hire you for special bits like this. Your insight, perspective and quality is seriously great. The only thing I'd add is that Luka is already on the next game before he's even back in the locker room, putting himself and his team in the head-space to rip some hearts out... (I love the quick, subtle clip of MJ with the cigar and the bat...)
I dream of having this dedication and fierceness, I like to think I am dedicated enough, but this is amazing. Just today I played 1v1 against a much taller, faster, overall better player, I got destroyed but that's okay. I learned something, I got better.
Never forget Devin Booker also couldn't handle a Mascot trying to distract him at the free throw line. Not in a million years would Kobe be phased by something like that
@Ballislife99 funny thing is Kobe actually made it 90% of the way to MJ's level. My man's achilles had to get injured for him to slow down, and even then his willpower never waivered.
"Not in a million years would kobe be phased" well yeah no shit its cause he's not kobe, and he's said to stop comparing him to kobe, so stop comparing him to kobe. They're both different players and people.
I’m at a really rough point in life right now. Lots of things are happening. So every couple days I come back and listen to Kobe say “you gotta send another one”. That shit is so motivating. Rip
I have a bracelet with my medical info and the quote "Job's not finished." that I wear everywhere, and those words motivate me to always give my all on anything I'm doing.
I hope things have gotten better since you posted this comment. Life is Rough and Life is tough. Not to sound lame but ,Tough times do not last, tough men do. Take care.
As a lifetime Mavs fan I truly feel blessed that I get to watch Luka in a Mavs uniform. We've never seen a player quite like him. His pace, IQ, and skill combined with his size and strength. He really does not have a weakness. Sure he's not the most athletic, so he's not making chase down blocks or dunking like Lebron, but in terms of scoring at will and always making the right play I think Luka has the edge as crazy as that sounds. We will see multiple MVP awards and Championships from Luka, and he has a very real opportunity to be the greatest player to ever touch a basketball.
@Dainius Vyšniauskas He has the mentality of Luka. You're doing him a disservice comparing him to these other legends. He is not the second anything. He is the first Luka.
Nah nah nah nah nah, if Luka had mentality of Kobe, he would be bricking shots left and right while not passing. You can say he has mentality of MJ, you can say he has mentality of Bird, but mentality of Kobe is not it.
One of the best evenings out I’ve had, out with with my sis and her bf at dinner to watch the game, I couldn’t stop laughing, cheering, in shock of what I was seeing as a Mavs fan, never would’ve predicted that’s how game 7 would turn out, but we absolutely know Luka is capable of this any given game, dude is a special player🔥🔥🔥
I’m not a Dallas fan but I am a fan of Luka. The kid can play, he can post you up, shoot from the outside, a little Dirk fadeaway he’s got. What mere mortal can tackle that?!
Fr tho. I’m a Boston fan but if Boston isn’t winning I definitely want luka too. He’s a generational talent and has a strong chance to become a top 5 pg ever imo barring any major setbacks
I was looking for this comment but honestly it seems like this was the first mistake (or atleast that I’ve noticed) that’s jxmmyhighroller has made with the 100’s of amazing videos he has put together for us so I’ll let this one slide 😂💀
Seeing the Suns collapse was one of my favorite moments of the year. As many characters of the great show The Sopranos often say, "Where do you get your balls?" I will never understand why Booker runs his mouth so much. He's one of the 10 worst defenders in the league for someone who is actually healthy and in his prime. He can't shoot anything other than midrange with consistency. He's scrawny, and a career loser and in no way a leader. Why? Where does he get his balls?
@Amilcar Safeca - You ask a question... "The Suns didn't collapse?" The word is subjective tomfoolery with no analysis behind it. To most casual fans, the easy "go-to" is to claim the Suns collapsed just like idiot Skip Bayless claimed about LeBron in 2011 finals instead of discussing the defensive schemes the Mavs employed against the Heat that year. It's basically lazy journalism on his part AND lazy fan commentary on your part. The Mavs help-and-recover scheme was run by Dallas all year. It paid wild dividends, forcing some of the best players in basketball into horrendous performances. The Mavericks controlled how the Suns played, and let nonstars open in uncomfortable positions for low pct shots. So no, the Suns didn't collapse. The Mavs brilliant defense and gameplan (thank you Kidd and Dudley) beat the Suns.
@Greg Lowe The Suns didn't collapse? The Mavs absolutely thrashed them, no doubt, they bitched these boys on full blast in their own court by 30 running pick-up plays in the third. That being said, their 2 superstars put up 3 points on a combined 11 shots in the first half with the starting 5 scoring less than 40 the WHOLE GAME. I get that most people besides CP3 on that roster are young, but they were in the finals the year before, and back-to-back 1st seeds in the reg season. This was an INSANE collapse. The Mavs beat them up, but they punched themselves several times.
Every time I watch Booker play, he acts like he’s tough when they’re winning, and disappears like a coward when losing. He’s soft, and that’s fine, but if you wanna be an all timer, you can’t be.
@Paul Williams kinda like how lebron got smoked by the spurs in the 07 finals. Young star drags a mediocre team past what they were expected to go, then get demolished by a experienced team.
this puts into perspective just how crazy the 2022 warriors were, the fact that luka, who had just forced a team to write a formal apology to their fans, was just dismantled in 5 games.
When I watched “the last dance” there was a moment when Michael Jordan was playing with a baseball bat in the locker room saying something like “it’s easy to talk trash when you’re up in the scoreboard, real men talk trash when the scoreboard is 0-0”. Luka saying “everybody acting tough when they’re up” was as cold as MJ.
@Matija nah game 1 and 2 vs Suns, Paul and Booker tired Luka out he sat basically the whole 4th quarter vs the suns one game. Some of the shots in the 3rd vs golden state were open shots that Luka should make. I think he needs to get more in shape stamina wise because the man burns out quick
@Shaheem Long Luka probably was/is tired after going 7 against the Suns so he probably couldn’t do some things he would be able otherwise. Yet he still scored 42. Warriors are simply a better team, there’s no question about it
@Matija Luka and the Mavs at the third to the beginning of the 4th scored like 5 points. Yes Luka is a excellent scorer clearly, but he didn't score when they had a chance to make the lead impossible for golden state to catch up which was the beginning of the third. Also alot of his shots came from free throws which was because Wiggins or any other defender wasn't giving him any easy buckets in the paint forcing him into a bad shot or kick out to a teammate. Luka looked slow and tired af out there
I always say ''don't underestimate your opponent no matter who it is'' ...outcomes are always a surprise and also even then if i was a coach i would still say to the team to focus no matter if the game is over
Pat Bev's explanation on the difference between 2 great players and the cloth they're cut from is perfect. I'm glad you added that clip in and would advise anyone who hasn't seen the full discussion to watch it
Luka is amazing man. I keep coming back to watch this lol. It reminds me of steph yelling "kick me off the court again boy" and that was against cp too 😂
6:06 seriously people did not even talk about this enough....if luka wouldve had a bad game 6 (which happens, sometimes he is just not spot on) and the mavs lost, people wouldve still made jokes about him in 10 years about this. High risk high reward
I wish I could get into watching NBA games on TV, but the few times I've tried, I've found it to be one huge commercial break with a few clips of basketball in-between. Such a cool sport, so it's a shame it's impossible for me to watch (I'm not American, so I haven't grown up with and grown accustomed to that kind of extreme commercial fest).
I agree with everything you said except the part where you brought up Ja Morant. That guy has achieved NOTHING yet. It is an insult to Luka to compare them. Great video though.
That stat showing he scored more than book, had more assists than CP0 rings, more boards than a 7 footer and more steals than Mikal bridges is INSANE. I knew he had played good but I didnt realize he dominated this team that bad in this series. It’s crazy too me that people still say luka is overrated. This man is the future… Jayson Chokeum is not.
This just shows the extreme gap between these NBA teams and the warriors. I thought the suns will crush the dubs, then I thought the Mavs would end them, and when I saw the Celtics sweep the Nets, I thought the celts would gentlemen sweep the dubs. Turns out all those teams were handled by the dubs in 6 games max. damn.
As always, well said. As a Suns fan, this was gut wrenching and deflating to watch. How do we lose back to back games like this after such a great season. "There's always next year."...(laughs at self)
@Retna1x did you watch any of this video ? Regular season doesn't mean Jack shit , luka has the killer Kobe gene , Booker clearly clearly doesn't , and he's getting mentored by chris Paul , so his chances to change that are slim to none , it's pretty obvious if you watched the video broski
@Ross A as good as he is I don’t mind as long as he can either humble up or get the skills to back his inflated ego then he will be fine as a franchise player
@Captain Light Tim Duncan didn't unload on us tf? We would've won a ring in 07' if it weren't thanks to Robert Horry and the shit officiating that suspended Stoudemire and Diaw. Fuck Robert Horry.
Me, watching game 7 here in Europe (past midnight time), I woke up everyone in the building I think. Even though I had headphones, I just couldn't control myself. It was one of the best games I watched in my life. And their faces were so telling. Luka gave them "Special" and then seated 4Q to watch the game. Just awesome.
@Dalla - Mind Yea it's not crazy to call it the worse loss in team history. Not only because of when we lost, but how we lost. A 64 win team couldn't make the WCF. In game 7 at home, where every team had won at home, we lost by 40. And it was pretty much over after the 1st. I think calling Booker soft is fair but he still has that killer instinct unlike CP3. What did CP3 do in the finals? At least Booker dropped back to back 40-point games to help the team. At least he put up a 40 point triple double without CP3. This is one bad game that he has to move away from but Booker definitely isn't "from the same cloth" as CP3 imo.
This video is so true. The real monsters in the NBA are the guys who always go down fighting. LeBron, Curry, Giannis, Luka. Those are the 4 that immediately come to mind. Their mindsets are just way ahead of everyone else. They’re cut from the same cloth as all time greats like Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Kareem, Magic, Russel, and Chamberlain. These guys all have the will to win and unshakable mentalities.
Lukas “everybody acting tough when they’re up” reminds me of MJs (not word for word) “it’s easy to trash talk when you’re up, only a real man can talk trash when they’re down or losing” both similar starts to their career , insane individual stats but little to no help , he’ll win a ring soon he’s a generational talent.
you are joking right? he barely beat him in seven having pg, a bunch of great role players, zubac looked like an all star vs powell lol. Brunson wast doing shit back then. KP was liability. Mavs may have barely lost, but Luka toyed with clippers
@Boo Blanco He has by far the most potential assists in the NBA, he dishes wide open shots left and right but his teammates miss too much as well. Look that stat up if you even care about having a valid opinion.
@Patrick Starfish Let's hope it's Wood, but I'd go for a Mikal Bridges kinda guy for that 3-4 spot who plays defense like a madman and develops offense. I mean Mikal's only flaw to be a Scottie-like player would be agressiveness and physicality on the offensive end. He has those on D but if he gets the confidence to blow by and dunk without fear, that's it.
You named a few big time guys, you failed to omit the one guy Luka looks like the most and the one guy who played his hole career under the most pressure and succeeded. Yet a great video
The last dance set the standard for the killer mentality. I can't imagine anyone, ever exceeding that ferocious determination and competitiveness that Jordan demonstrated.
Thanks a lot CP3 and Booker for preventing a Suns vs Warriors series. I like Luka, but I was looking forward to Suns vs Warriors. Every year we fail to get a matchup we want.
I don't like the Mavs, but with how they dealt with the Suns and with how the Warriors got a fluke win against the Rockets in 2018 I need them to win the Semi's..
As a Nuggets fan it was so damn satisfying, too, because Suns fans kept mocking us "how big of a difference can one player make?" when talking about the lack of Jamal Murray (who, oh btw, has 9 wins in 12 games against the Suns in his career) last year when they swept us. Turns out, CP3 is the major weakness on D and Murray would've eaten him for breakfast, it just wasn't meant to be last year when our back court consisted of Campazzo and Rivers.
Booker complaining about doubles in a rec game talking about "lemme work on my game." You gonna see doubles in the regular season so why not work on how to score against a double team??
Man this page is great. Luka is my fav player so im Loving the commentary. Also I never understood why players open their mouths if they haven’t won shit. Like let your game speak for itself bro.
“No one rises to the occasion, you fall to the level of your training”. Makes me wonder how people train - the Kobe “you’d better send another” tells me that he wanted the harder training. One does not call themselves the GOAT, others do that for you. Likewise, I don’t understand trash talk. If you are worse than the other player, and then get smashed, how does talking smack help you? You’re just lying to yourself. If you are better than the person you are going up against, how does bullying them make you a better person? And if you are the same skill level, why would you want that to be the difference? Anyone can meditate when you are in a dark, quiet room with nice smells and warmth. Trash talking when you are up is weak. I am slow and unskillful on the court. It’s obvious. And yet occasionally people will still have a go at me, especially if I do something good like block them or set a good screen. Them: “oh, you think you’re so good now do you?” Me: “nope. I’m not that good at all! That’s why is so embarrassing for you!” Make your training harder than the game so the game becomes easier :) Thanks for the video.
As a person who's seen Luka playing seen he's 14 I can say that he's always had it in him. He was born for these moments and, besides that, he also has the experience of playing big games like this against pro ballers since he's 16
@Tae Pro he won the Spanish U18 championship, probably the best in Europe, when he was only 16 with a triple double in the final. I know it because I was part of that tournament as well. He was just on another level
When someone speak about killer mentality, he always forgot my man Ginobili. Ginobili was built to win, every little petty things to the giants miracle moves, he had it all and used them without fear of failure.
ikr? You can literally see his frustration each time the spurs lose games, whether he's on the court or on the bench. The guy simply hates losing so much it eats him.
@Christian Waters great scorers should always score, maybe book isn’t that guy. Look Mj is an all time great scorer, LBJ is an all time great score, they got double/tripled their whole career and still scored efficiently no matter how good the defence was. Book is just not that guy
Ain’t no way the Suns wrote an apology letter to the fans💀
Luka would, he can do all the suns can't
@zyan 😂😂😂
my profile pic says it all
J
I'm dead 💀
Had to see this again to reminisce the moment when luka adopted his suns.
@TheRealPVC That 2021 run, almost all the teams the suns faced had injuries to key players, except the bucks, and we know how that ended
@TheRealPVC what're you saying again? MAVS - 5th seed, SUNS - 8th seed. Stop being delusional boy
@TheRealPVC well this didn't age well
Luka Is literally the Mavs roster atm, sun's has so much more help. And yet STILL got bodied by one man. I can't wait until Luka gets a superstar, great role-player or all-star.
@TheRealPVC Mavs are a top 5 seed lmao yeah they are going to go.
nah getting beat so bad you have to write an apology letter is crazy 😭
Hahaha
Luka said "everybody acting tough, when they're up" after a loss, then after that won the series. Savage
I find it a bit funny because luka acted tough when he was up against the warriors and then got eliminated
People shouldnt forget where Luka is from, he was playing under pressure while he was teen. South European Fans are vicious and ruthless, they chant and yell insults whole game they make court to vibrate if you go for free shots and to play in thouse conditions for years makes easy to play under pressure in NBA. facts and they were not one but TWOA games down. insane
Mj quote
. That should be on poster and shirts
"every body acting tough when they up" one of the coldest line
@Action Jackson , Also I would love to see Luka just once drive the lane with some passion and intensity and just posterize someone, stuff the ball down some defenders throat and monster dunk someones ass. @PSXBOX6337 favored by the refs? Don't you know that the warriors is the least free throw team in the NBA? Go watch live, not just highlights.
@diego chavez 🤫🤡
to those warriors fans, you team just getting favored by the refs!!!
@Krozly Vassos man revisiting this thread after Luka dropped a 60 point-21 rebound- 10 assist game is pretty funny
@Manu Prasad that’s what happens when your 3 best players combine for like 6 points
@xarmanhs h can you show the video?
The no double teaming in practice guy?
it was his sister lol
Τhats still so funny. In europe people make free throws with with fire on the stands and objects thrown at the.
And suns fans were saying they were all that and got cooked in the one game that mattered😂

Wow. Such a great point. Draymond knows which player to talk Shit too, and which not too.
Basically just living through ths exact scenario LeBron did on the cavs, doesn't have help and gets targeted.
The experience of the Warriors says it all.
8:45 that shi made me almost pee my pants😂😂😂
@Baby Dropkicker Pro 431 cause that man crazy, literally
Why does Pat looks like he's about to eat them
in this game 7 i bet 10€ that doncic and dinwidie will have both at least 30 poinst the odds were 100 and not only did i watched mavs totally obligirate suns but also wining a cool 1k .. best day in a long time hh
Devin booker is lukas son luka signed off on that shit himself 😂😂😂😂
Who is rewatching it again after Luks's historic 60/21/10 game? 🙂
Fuck that game …..
The guy is a monster, no doubt
"Some players lack it, some players are honing it and some players - are made of it"
Beautiful closing sentence. Awesome video 10/10
5:00
Goddamn luka 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sounded a little weird 😂😅
The fact that devin booker is the cover of 2k23 is just ironically funny😭😂
PUT EMBIID ON THE COVER OF 2K24
not only that, but the starting screen of the NBA 2k mobile screen is- and you guessed it… Devin Booker.
The cover curse 👀
Luka literally “took it personally” and Devin Booker couldn’t do anything about it. “The Luka Special” is now the NBA’s “I’m gonna shock the world”
@RIM03 what??? lmfaooo luka is their daddy
@Captain L
@Daddy Doza no one on the suns were injured luka abused them ad was injured on la
@Andrew Chesteryeah that wat I ask the Pepsi virgins rejects 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Daniela the penguin majin buu joker is a woman afraid of men. We all know that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Steph saying "you don't wanna see us next year" and actually backing those words up the following year is better. But luka's "everybody acting tough when they up" is right up there with it.
As a Mavs fan this was one of the games I’ll remember forever…definitely best game since we won the chip
Dude - ESPN should hire you for special bits like this. Your insight, perspective and quality is seriously great. @Ballislife99 funny thing is Kobe actually made it 90% of the way to MJ's level. My man's achilles had to get injured for him to slow down, and even then his willpower never waivered.
@J.S Wang some day maybe...............😕
"Not in a million years would kobe be phased" well yeah no shit its cause he's not kobe, and he's said to stop comparing him to kobe, so stop comparing him to kobe. They're both different players and people.
Actually he got distracted by a fan once and switched on em for using a vertigo sign 😆
Giannis and Luka are the closest to that, more so Giannis because he has the work ethic as well.

Luka has the mentality of Kobe, the talent of Bron and the dedication of Jordan, He’s gonna be special.
@Bootboo potential goat you mean.. he’s already hall of fame
Gonna be? Where have you been? lol
@` Fair point. It's just that comparing Luka with Kobe is just wrong.
You can say he has mentality of MJ, you can say he has mentality of Bird, but mentality of Kobe is not it.

as a suns fan this video made me wanna die
LMAOOOOOO yo
@Ray W "Basketball Thanos" Thank you for that!!
As it should lmao 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Luka can wear Booker on his neck. It'd be the best choker on the market.
In 2016 I had a chance to watch him play live in Euroleague . Had no idea who he was but dropped 30 points on us . Been a Luka fan since then.
I’m not a Dallas fan but I am a fan of Luka. The kid can play, he can post you up, shoot from the outside, a little Dirk fadeaway he’s got. What mere mortal can tackle that?!
@Chrome Domothats true because of his skill, and if he manage to get at least 2 rings and 2mvp he's going with that
Fr tho. I’m a Boston fan but if Boston isn’t winning I definitely want luka too. He’s a generational talent and has a strong chance to become a top 5 pg ever imo barring any major setbacks
4:54 we gonna ignore him calling Ayton “Deandre Jordan”?😂
Well he played like Andre Jordan's on that game
this shit is even funnier after deandre jordan got called ayton by an announcer
@Bon Deese fr 😂 and I make that mistake all the time with deandre ayton and Jordan
I was looking for this comment but honestly it seems like this was the first mistake (or atleast that I’ve noticed) that’s jxmmyhighroller has made with the 100’s of amazing videos he has put together for us so I’ll let this one slide 😂💀
disgraceful
I enjoyed every minute of this game. Luka humiliated that boy to the point where he couldn't talk shit anymore.
Seeing the Suns collapse was one of my favorite moments of the year. As many characters of the great show The Sopranos often say, "Where do you get your balls?"
I will never understand why Booker runs his mouth so much.
The Suns didn't collapse. The Mavs beat them. Smoke that one.
Every time I watch Booker play, he acts like he’s tough when they’re winning, and disappears like a coward when losing.
He’s soft, and that’s fine, but if you wanna be an all timer, you can’t be.
Lmfaoooooooo An Apology Letter?! Holy shit my nigga Luka a Menace 😂😂😂😂
“the man (luka doncic) beat the suns so bad the franchise had to write an apology letter to their fans” 💀☠️
@LogicallGaming rudy gobert when he locked up the whole NBA
To their father luka as well💀🗿🗿
sorry speak to d lee game winner
😂😂😂
@Paul Williams kinda like how lebron got smoked by the spurs in the 07 finals. Young star drags a mediocre team past what they were expected to go, then get demolished by a experienced team.
Luka is the definition of “He got that DAWG in ‘em”
That "die trying" mentality, is exactly what made the 2015-2018 years so special. Both those teams always tried till the bitter end
this puts into perspective just how crazy the 2022 warriors were, the fact that luka, who had just forced a team to write a formal apology to their fans, was just dismantled in 5 games.
the Warriors aren't little bitches and actually had a will to win so
“Everybody acting tough when they up” will go down in history alongside Jordan’s “Took it personally” and Kobe’s “Job’s not done”.
@Yohanne Ludwig Quezon i agree except for the off balance mid range shots. luka has those all the time
plclip.com/video/4iVi1DYEvmU/wideo.html
Luka looked slow and tired af out there
I always say ''don't underestimate your opponent no matter who it is'' ...outcomes are always a surprise and also even then if i was a coach i would still say to the team to focus no matter if the game is over
As an NBA fan, I will forever remember that playoffs series and the trash taking, and remember that Luka owned the Suns after what Booker said.
Pat Bev's explanation on the difference between 2 great players and the cloth they're cut from is perfect. I'm glad you added that clip in and would advise anyone who hasn't seen the full discussion to watch it
D-Book: “The Luka Special”
Luka: “That’s when I took it personally.”
After game 7
D-Book: “So you see… wha happened was…”
“and more rebounds than 7ft center DeAndre Jordan” idk if this was intentional but damn it sure fit in every way 💀
prime dj would have put up 10 and 14 at least🤷♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
@Elliott Potter that he said Deandre JORDAN instead of Deandre AYTON
I thought I was tripping, that was not DeAndre Jordan my man.
lol just saw it and scrolled to comments immeditaly
Wdym intentional?
Kobe smilin down on Luca. Mavs really got to form up behind this dude. They're wasting precious time
Luka is amazing man. I keep coming back to watch this lol.
It reminds me of steph yelling "kick me off the court again boy" and that was against cp too 😂
It is just so satisfying to watch, reminds me of Rondo smacking Cp3.
Absolutely love this video.
Talking about the hitman mentality - doing whatever it takes to overcome the challenge of winning - love it.
6:06 seriously people did not even talk about this enough....if luka wouldve had a bad game 6 (which happens, sometimes he is just not spot on) and the mavs lost, people wouldve still made jokes about him in 10 years about this. High risk high reward
Jxmy. Never stop these videos. I got into basketball only because of these videos, and it was the best thing ever.
What?!
@DREAM CHASER Cringe comment
@WattKy71 exactly, he made me actually want to play
That’s weird
I agree with everything you said except the part where you brought up Ja Morant. That guy has achieved NOTHING yet. It is an insult to Luka to compare them. Great video though.
Personally I lost a lot of respect that I had for D-Book, kid is outrageously talent but I didn't appreciate that no-reason taunting against Luka
I straight up laugh out loud when Kobe said you gotta send another one.. lol
He meant it too...
I have to say, I was SO hoping you would talk about this. This shit was hilarious seeing Luka laughing at everyone
@Retna1x Booker didn't lead anything lol. CP lead them and the entire team is better.
@Jure Klemenčič the Mavs can't see playoff if they switched. Suns lead by Booker without cp3 can't even go to playin.
@Retna1x Damn, idk what nba league you watching son but yous wrong
@Retna1x switch booker and lukas teams and the suns win the championship while i doubt the mavs even make the playoffs
@Retna1x I’ve never seen someone so triggered lmao you got your asses handed to you and now all you can do is rant about it on the internet
Man, since this video dropped I always find time to watch this coz its that entertaining and good storytelling by jimmy
As a mavs fan it felt so good to see book and cp3 sad af only because they needed to be humbled and Luka and the mavs did that.
4:53 DeAndre Jordan 😅
This just shows the extreme gap between these NBA teams and the warriors. I thought the suns will crush the dubs, then I thought the Mavs would end them, and when I saw the Celtics sweep the Nets, I thought the celts would gentlemen sweep the dubs.
Turns out all those teams were handled by the dubs in 6 games max. damn.
Boston inexplicably just collapsed
Stephen Curry is that special.... 💯🎯
Never missed someone I’ve never met so much , rest easy Kobe
Bro the way you ended it gave me goosebumps. You a talented ass dude
Whenever I feel like a bitch and I’m procrastinating on running my errands, I watch this video, laugh at the suns and get motivated.
xD
Igor dropped, most of it was about Tyler boning Booker's girl
As always, well said. As a Suns fan, this was gut wrenching and deflating to watch. How do we lose back to back games like this after such a great season. "There's always next year."...(laughs at self)
@Retna1x "luka has a WAY better roster" HAHAHAHA I see what you did there...
The loss shouldn’t be deflating. Devin Booger being your team franchise player should be deflating.
"DeAndre Jordan"... you mean "Ayton".
Luka is just so fucking good bro. In 2 years he’s gonna be steamrolling everyone in the league. He just needs one, just one co STAR and he’ll be solid
Happy GSW won over the Mavs but gotta give props to Luca's mentality. Much respect.
The fact that the Suns actually had to write an apology letter is crazy 😂
@Martina Gerber
@Haider Moh. True it's how the Suns lost that what makes the fans angry and furious.
I don’t accept it
Wish the Lakers did but even that's too much decency for the P*$$y family and friends
LeBron? lmao, he's always full of excuses when things don't go his way.... he DOESN'T have that mentality... at all. He's just incredibly talented
Its interesting to see how regular season star players just cant perform in playoffs. Luka is definitely a clutch playoff ready player.
watching this makes andrew wiggins defense through the play offs even more impressive the guy was just relentless
I remember in middle school when Lebron started taking over the league in his first few seasons… Luka truly is special just like him
Lukas “everybody acting tough when they’re up” reminds me of MJs (not word for word) “it’s easy to trash talk when you’re up, only a real man can talk trash when they’re down or losing” both similar starts to their career , insane individual stats but little to no help , he’ll win a ring soon he’s a generational talent.
@vebthic my dude you must be a new nba fan. It took a few years before the bulls became a super team
you are joking right? he barely beat him in seven having pg, a bunch of great role players, zubac looked like an all star vs powell lol. Brunson wast doing shit back then. KP was liability. Mavs may have barely lost, but Luka toyed with clippers
@Brian Birnbaum Had more steals than DPOY runner-up Mikal in that whole series tho...
Yes send another one 😂 Kobe! He wanted all the smoke. That drive to win is what determines you to being a great player or a superstar.
You named a few big time guys, you failed to omit the one guy Luka looks like the most and the one guy who played his hole career under the most pressure and succeeded. Yet a great video
Omg that Kobe quote when it comes to double teams is GOAT 😂 That's why he's my Top 2 before MJ
The last dance set the standard for the killer mentality. I can't imagine anyone, ever exceeding that ferocious determination and competitiveness that Jordan demonstrated.
Think it flew over everybody’s heads when he called Deandre Ayton “Deandre Jordan” 😂😂😂
its hard to say Deandre without saying Jordan
I heard it too ... 4:56
Haha. I was looking for this comment.
Hahaha that’s what I was thinking! … that’s not Deandre Jordan?
@deeki85 I think you may be thinking about it too much 😂 but who knows
Thanks a lot CP3 and Booker for preventing a Suns vs Warriors series. I like Luka, but I was looking forward to Suns vs Warriors. Every year we fail to get a matchup we want.
Book really took the be legendary line to another level. This man became a legend after this game🤣
I come back here every so often to relive my Mavs whoopin these dudes after talkin all that ish
“You gotta send another one” Goddamn the Mamba really was just that badass.
As a Mavs fan it was so damn satisfying to see the Suns get whooped after talking all that trash. Luka didn’t start it but he sure finished it.
plclip.com/video/8Z7pzcGG4CI/wideo.html
as a nba fan****
plclip.com/video/MmxQR1qr6r4/wideo.html
I don't like the Mavs, but with how they dealt with the Suns and with how the Warriors got a fluke win against the Rockets in 2018 I need them to win the Semi's..
As a Nuggets fan it was so damn satisfying, too, because Suns fans kept mocking us "how big of a difference can one player make?" when talking about the lack of Jamal Murray (who, oh btw, has 9 wins in 12 games against the Suns in his career) last year when they swept us. Turns out, CP3 is the major weakness on D and Murray would've eaten him for breakfast, it just wasn't meant to be last year when our back court consisted of Campazzo and Rivers.
this the most savage own that i've heard, and i can't stop replaying this video over and over 😂
I bet on the mavs that night fearing that i was gonna lose but seeing the game realy made me respect Luka
This man be spitting basketball slam poetry and it makes me wanna run through a brick wall
when i heard Luka say "Everbody acting tough when they up" I knew the suns messed up
the kiss of death !!!
Booker complaining about doubles in a rec game talking about "lemme work on my game." You gonna see doubles in the regular season so why not work on how to score against a double team??
Man this page is great. Luka is my fav player so im
Loving the commentary.
That’s why is so embarrassing for you!”
Make your training harder than the game so the game becomes easier :)
Thanks for the video.
4:52, it should be DeAndre Ayton, but Jimmys hard work allows him more than a few free passes. Keep up the good work brother 🙌
As a person who's seen Luka playing seen he's 14 I can say that he's always had it in him. He was born for these moments and, besides that, he also has the experience of playing big games like this against pro ballers since he's 16
he'll MVP next year i'm calling it
@packlesswolf1 Like Pat Bev said the Warriors are a completely different monster
Repent to Jesus Christ
“Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.””
John 20:21 NIV
@Tae Pro he won the Spanish U18 championship, probably the best in Europe, when he was only 16 with a triple double in the final. I know it because I was part of that tournament as well. He was just on another level
Boy was playing under 14 when he was just 9 years old.
When he said "guess how Kobe reacted" I knew without even seeing the clip that a Kobe thing to say is. "Send another one!"
Probably my fav video from Jimmy. This was too good
Imagine if Luka had more help on his team like other superstars do that's crazy
That game seven kept me smiling and I'm still in a good mood. I feel a little bad for Chris, but seeing Booker choke is the best feeling.
@K 97 You don't know what are you talking about. Kwai was Year older. Plus he had way better team.
Angry little man.
@Shock at Luka’s age, Klaw was already finals mvp. STFU!! Kawhi is Luka’s dad
@Supermariohoops24 Dude Luka was literally alone. And he's way younger. Klaw at Lukas age was not even as close as good.
@Christian Waters great scorers should always score, maybe book isn’t that guy. Look Mj is an all time great scorer, LBJ is an all time great score, they got double/tripled their whole career and still scored efficiently no matter how good the defence was. Book is just not that guy
@goobernugget08 ong
