Hot take: Kawhi leaving the raptors was low key one of the biggest butterfly affects ever and no one talks about it. If he stays, PG stays in okc, meaning they would have another solid year in 2020, meaning westbrook might also stay there, leading to other events that would have changed the landscape of the NBA
Holy shit, which would probably make lebron either consider another super star to join him in the lakers this season, this has a lot of implications lol
Here's a hot take ; If Giannis was selected higher in the 2013 draft by a larger market team , he wouldn't have developed to be the player he is today in Milwaukee
This is not a hot take, this predicting the future of a fictional butterfly effect 😭😭 you kids are like the new version of nerds arguing about who would win in fight between superman and batman 🤣🤣
I agree because most big market teams do not have enough patience to develop a talent like him. He was just an ok player when he first entered the league, not someone you really thought twice about.
Thats definitely fair. You can say the same about Kawhi too. Who knows if he would have developed into the player he is today if he wasn’t traded to the Spurs after he got drafted.
My take: This is about as stacked a league as we've ever had. Something like 26/30 teams have at least 1 star player worthy of building a franchise around in the long run, many teams have multiple. Very exciting
hotter take: the league will only get more and more stacked as basketball becomes more popular abroad (especially in europe, africa, and china) and there will be so many good players we'll need to expand the league

@Ben Dovahkin it happens no worries. but that loss shouldn't really matter when 2 other MVP favorites lost early. Jokic losing in round 16 and Giannis also losing in the same round as Luka doesn't seem to altar their MVP Candicy, so why should it affect Lukas?
Hot take: there aren't enough teams in the NBA for how much talent there is and how much the game has grown in the past few decades. There were 27 teams in 1989 to 29 teams in 1995 to 30 teams all the way since 2004. However, the NBA has no reason to make more teams and try to start new franchises as economically it wouldn't benefit them much to start over with new teams that would take a while for anybody to actually get invested in.
I don’t even watch the nba. Just a fan of the sport and some players. But you make me want to watch every game. Seriously awesome content! You deserve an award or something.
No. Just no lmao. Paul George left because kawhi was a free agent and he wanted Paul George to go with him. Paul George was gonna stay with okc, he signed a 4 year max for a reason lmao. and even then, kd literally begun the end of the franchise by backstabbing them and leaving the team. and despite ALL OF THIS, the Thunder still have the brightest future in the League. Lillard did not destroy a franchise, he just set them back, and even that's debatable.
Bruh, as funny as it is to say and think about it's still a pretty dumb thing to say. It was probably just the last drop. Plus KD leaving was the start of the franchise's decline.

The thing about that '08 Celtics team? And maybe my favorite thing to ever happen in the NBA? They flat out made the Lakers quit in game 6 of the Finals. Let me repeat that. They made Kobe Bryant, one of THE all-time NBA greats with one of the fiercest competitive streaks and killer instincts to ever lace 'em up just quit. Like, not take it a little bit easy in a game they were clearly going to lose. They made them lay down and die, like a dog who goes and hides under the porch when he knows his time is up. From the wiki: "Boston dominated in numerous statistical categories, including rebounds (48-29, with a 14-2 disparity in offensive boards), turnovers (7-19), steals (18-4), assists (33-16) and blocks (4-0). Five Celtics finished in double figures....the Celtics only turned the ball over seven times and set a Finals record with 18 steals, and every Boston player who saw action scored."
I’m a Boston fan and I *LOVE* that squad! It’s the only one that’s happened during my lifetime and I bloody love KG, Allen and Pierce anyway so the fact they were all on the team is awesome. I was 1 (turning 2) when they won but I still like it! I’m a Minnesota fan too because of my dad so Garnett is royalty in my books Edit: I just realised I prove the point in this video lol, my bad!
The take about the Celtics is so true like i started watching basketball in 2014 and the way the people talked about the Celtics beating Kobe and them being a crazy good team I really thought they had like 2-3 rings I was absolutely shocked that they just had 1 and it was sub-par af.

In my opinion Luka isn’t being talked about enough for the MVP race, he is averaging 28 9 9 with 1 steal, the Mavs are 7-9 without him, he has nearly by himself carried this Mavericks team to a 4 seed in the West, being that the West is stackeddddd. Without Luka I think this Mavericks team would be bottom 2 in the West
Compared to the Joker? Denver is the one of the worst teams in the league on offense and defense when Joker is on the bench statistically. When he is on the floor they are the BEST team in the league on offense and defense statistically. Joker leads his team in EVERY statistic. Literally. He is the leading scorer, rebounder, assists, steals, blocks, shooting percentage, FT shooting attempts and makes, and minutes played per game (man's a tank.. he has missed a handful of games in six seasons). His P.E.R for the season is 33... THIRTY-THREE.... You, bluntly, CANNOT be more valuable to your team than that. Oh by the way... did I forget to mention that Luka has the ball in his hands on 60% of Dallas' minutes on the offensive end.... Joker is 25%. No hate. Luka is awesome and I would LOVE to see him and Joker play together at some point, but this year? There is just no way to get around Joker should repeat as MVP. No one is more valuable to their team. @EST 1981 i like the nba more now than ever, less bigs who cant move, shoot, or jump clogging up the paint and you have to actually be smart on defense instead of just beating someone up. i mean you look at 2000s nba games and see just flat out terrible offense. dribbling violations are bs in the first place honestly. 3 pointers are fun and no mediocre shooter is actually shooting 10+ 3's a game. players actually move off-ball now too
@EST 1981 that is so idiotic. They shoot that many 3s because you factually score more than shooting mid range. Even with the lower shooting percentage
DRose was incredible his MVP year. He had whole teams trying to D him up. No one could see him that season. Rose getting hurt robbed us of one of the greatest PGs ever..
With the draft it’s all about when they started, there best season, or peak season. If we’re talking 90s Jordan, he’s going first, but it’s basically all about when they’re peak was to me
2:37 Wait, not giving an award to someone because they were injured and didn't play the entire season sounds wrong to you ? It doesn't sound wrong to me at all. If you're the leading scorer during the 40 first games and then miss the 30 next which means other players have surpassed your scoring, they should get the title over you no questions !! How can you get the award when you were only the best for half a season ? 🤔 Aren't we giving awards to LeBron for longevity ? Dude managed to not get injured too much and got the stats to back it up yet people make an argument that he's the best because he has the most stats. How does this argument work in one way but not in the other ? If LeBron had taken (hypothetically) 5 years off due to injury, his stats wouldn't be were they are now. Would he still be the goat ? Probably not. Being injured is basically not playing, and if you're not playing you cannot be the best just because you were dominating when you were playing... Your logic doesn't quite make sense here.
Exactly, the year 1985 and the context behind it in the graphic was enough to raise an eyebrow, if he really paid close attention to it he would know better.
hot take: although in his current situation this wont be possible, if tyrese maxey was put in a position on a team that could build around him, he could easily be the best player on a contender once he hits his prime. (aka a perennial all-nba talent)
Sure, at an good enough level, you depend on the attacker missing. But your defense puts pressure on the attacker, for them to take a step back further back, to make a higher arc for their shot...etc. They can still sink their shot, but against a poor defender, they may sink 90 of their 100 shots, a good defender will put their accuracy to maybe 70 of 100. You still feel stupid most of the time. But it helps.
@for the 3 Curry is injured. Before Curry was injured they were on a 9 game winning streak with the Mavs at like the 4th or 5th seed. GSW was 2nd seed before Curry went out. If Curry didn’t get injured he would have been in the MVP conversation. Let’s not forget Dray, Klay, and Steph played only 11 minutes together this season. Not even one game, 11 minutes!
fr he averaged 26, 6, and 5 on 42/38/92 shooting which isn't as bad as people make it out to be, while playing really good defense for the first time in his career
I think if you score 25 points a game for 80 games that's pretty impressive and more impressive than only being there to score a few more points when you're occasionally healthy.
behind only Jeff Hornacek of all people. He’s first all time for players with over 300 games played. 4. Perhaps most importantly of all, he’s an unselfish player who’s willing to
Here’s a hot take: lamely ball has never been bad before, he is mad underrated and has everything you could imagine out of a point guard. He does passes like magic johnson, shooting like ray Allen and layups like Vince carter. You literally cannot stop this guy when he’s at his prime. You just can’t
Would LOVE for this to become a series on this channel because the facts, info, stats, and graphs you put into it make it so interesting and easy to understand why you think the way you think!!! As always love the vid!!
As somebody who frequently thinks about how milked that 2008 Celtics run was, I can also see the kind of grand narrative involved. The big trio of that team-Pierce, Garnett, and Allen-were all amazing players who had been screwed over by their teams while being loyal to the soil for years. They never got the people around them to ascend and become the champions they deserved to be. So they come together as one force to take the league by storm, and do it in their first try. They proved their value and champion caliber together.
Dare I say, in the hypothetical all time NBA draft, that I would have KD lower on my list because of his limitations in the area of mental toughness. And as far as great championship teams, the '14 Spurs who came back from the epic loss the previous finals when Allen hit his epic three from the baseline. That Spurs team could not be stopped!
@Jayson Tatum Fanboy If wins are wins and loss are losses The Bulls won G5 after Rose was injured in G1. Even if GS got a blow out lost, comparing it to the win of the bulls, it’s a different era of basketball(playing styles, defense strategies, etc) BTW I’m a C’s fan as well.. I miss Rondo☘️
On The Who would go first in an all-time NBA draft it would depend on if we had already seen what these players would become or if it was just them coming out from where they were before we knew. If we had already seen what they would become than I think that Michael Jordan would go first but if it was where they came from before we knew what they would become I would guess that probably Lebron James.
I think it's amazing that a guy like Scott Skiles still has the NBA assist record of 30 over 30 years after he set it considering all the great point guards that have played since the record was set, guys like Stockton, Nash, Kidd, Chris Paul. You'd think one of those guys on some night would just go get the record, but it just hasn't happened.
@George LeToad yeah, I get that, but one of those guys could have realized they were on pace for it and tried to get it, or even just got it organically on a random night
I feel like any of those guys could've taken one of the 82 games in a season could've went out and chased that record but that just isn't winning basketball so they never did great point though
Hot take: Kawhi leaving the raptors was low key one of the biggest butterfly affects ever and no one talks about it. Thank you Jimmy people claim Lebron started the "Modern super team" when it's actually the 08 celtics for not only giving him the blue print but beating him so bad in the playoffs he had no choice but to team up and join forces
Hot take: I think that Monta Ellis is the greatest scorer to never be an All Star If their are an award of the most improved nba team it would be the Memphis Grizzlies by roster, offense and the improvements since the 2017-18 Season The saddest fallout after a few years in the season are San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ok, regarding the draft take, I'd have to take either steph or LeBron first. Most would take Jordan but not me. Jordan is more skilled then both all around, but Bron can play every position on the court and has the size. He's also proven he can sustain dominance and be consistent. My only worry is him playing GM
Jimmy I would love to see you make a video about injuries. I can't help but feel that players are missing a lot more games in recent seasons when compared to the 90s/2000s. I feel like the outcome of the playoffs each year now just depends on which teams stay healthy.
@Kappa Mocca There is also one called The NBA has a BIG problem that no one is talking about, it goes over causes of injuries in rookies and how players are pushed to their limits
Repent to Jesus Christ “rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:7-8 NIV
Most NBA stars don't care about the fans. MJ famously said how he could never take a game off b/c there were people in those stands who waited/saved up for years, just to see him play once. In addition, I think back in the day, most athletes played different sports year round, meaning different muscles were getting worked out at different times and no particular body parts/muscles/tendons were being overworked. Today's athletes are mostly made to focus on the one sport that gives them the best shot at a scholarship and directed by their parents to just focus on that, 365 days a year, which means certain body parts getting over worked and susceptible to injury.
For anyone reading this: JESUS loves you so much that HE gave up HIS own life for you on the cross, and if you repent of your sins, and accept HIM as Lord and Savior, you will become a Christian, and you will have everlasting life!
Hot take: Wade was better overall than kobe, just didn't have the longevity (injuries) or as many chips due to not being in Lakers or being carried but young Shaq, but kobe was better shooter. Also I think kobe could play defense when he wanted but overall just above average on D.
The guarding hot take is true in most sports. Sports where defending is easier than scoring lead to games where no one scores and aren't very exciting, so almost all games make defending 1-on-1 harder than scoring 1-on-1.
Hot take : if the warriors didnt have so many injuries this season and the past few and if they had steph , klay , draymond , kuminga and pool playing together on a healthy team they would and could have been a championship winning team and if they have a healthy roster they could win this year’s title race easy
@jxmy man, love your content congrats on hitting the trending page BUT I got one major gripe with this vid... How and why? when talking about scoring champs did you pick out jordans 37.1ppg season, and KDs 32ppg season BUT AI's 26.8 (when he had multiple 30+ seasons) and Kobe's 31.6 instead of his 35.4 season. Slip up or conspiracy? What's the agenda? (just kidding btw, but for real whatsup with the stats mr. stat man)
Because Lukas been talked about since he got drafted being a “future mvp” I think the reason why embeed and ja are above his because of the fatigue of talking about him, Luka is the mvp over those two, but won’t win the award
In the 2021 playoffs the Heat didn't choock they just wasn't interested in having a run in the playoffs ( they didn't have enough time to rest from the 2020 finals) to avoid injurys
jimmy i mean it when i say this…I wasn’t a huge basketball fan when I discovered your channel through you I grew alot more interest in the game. You can really tell the time and dedication you put into your vids
i think the point about guarding versus elite players is more nuanced. I agree that you can't truly guard an elite player in the sense that you don't often prevent them from attempting their basket, but the goal becomes making the scoring player put in as much effort/energy into the point as possible to wear them down/cause more inconsistency in their further play.
it’s not my take but i’d love to hear your thoughts on the whole Ja>Luka argument that was happening this year. I personally think it’s Luka and it’s not even close.
Hot take: "Loyalty" is so bs in NBA, like a player is scrutinized for leaving and wanting to win but not the GMs that wasted the players years of talent
With hindsight, it's hard to pick KD that high. He's shown he can't work well with everyone, his two chips came (arguably) because of an already winning core, and he has not won anything before or after, even with other superstars around him. His leadership is questionable, and he's not even that good of a team player, plus his temper tantrums are ridiculous. IMHO, KD is the most overrated superstar out there currently.
This NBA season has been the best (as in most exciting, enjoyable and evenly matched) season in the last 10 years, mabye the last 15. I really feel like anyone could take home the chip this year. Im sco hyped for the playoffs
@Jonny Hendrix bro you could go on and on, grizzlies, hawks, mavs, Celtics. so much young talent it’s insane. The league has improved so much with the depth in all their rosters
Hot take: Kawhi leaving the raptors was low key one of the biggest butterfly affects ever and no one talks about it. Indeed my friend, he def Ashton Kutchered that mf
❄️
technically, the butterfly effect here starts in 2017 when Zaza injured Kawhi
THEN OKC WOULDNT GET CHET OMG
Holy shit, which would probably make lebron either consider another super star to join him in the lakers this season, this has a lot of implications lol

Thats definitely fair. You can say the same about Kawhi too. Who knows if he would have developed into the player he is today if he wasn’t traded to the Spurs after he got drafted.
You could probably say that about alot of great players. Fair take.
i agree with you become unstoppable, but that doesn't mean a really good defender cant slow you down

Quicker? LeBron looks like he’s moving through pudding.
@Saeed Baig True, I feel like MJ is better for a franchise that is already established unlike LeBron who's more of a versatile player.

www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/den/season/2022/seasontype/2
With luka off the court the mavs are still a + 3.4, they certainly wouldn’t be bottom two in the west
@Baked Jordan luka averages more turnovers than trae 😂😂😂
It’s playoff time jimmy, can’t wait to see video every other day
I remember the 08 finals lol being a celtics fan even i can admit it was super underwhelming but we were on fire that year let us soak on it lol
Nobody has milked one catch phrase as much as Kenny Smith with “Let’s go home.”
This is a good reminder of how often I disagree with Jxmy but still got respect for him. Good video.
My take: This is about as stacked a league as we've ever had. Something like 26/30 teams have at least 1 star player worthy of building a franchise around in the long run, many teams have multiple. Very exciting
@Alessandro Di Lollo Wendell carter jr is pretty good
W take
Orlando magic?
where would the world be without hot takes 🔥
Bring back the dislike counter
We need dislike
In a better place.
@Omotayo Satuyi nah you were trying to be sarcastic and it didnt work out. now you just look goofy 😂
where would the world be without dislikes 🔥
DRose was incredible his MVP year. He had whole teams trying to D him up. No one could see him that season. Rose getting hurt robbed us of one of the greatest PGs ever..
The scoring title used to go to the total points holder for that season, but in 1970 the NBA changed it to the seasons ppg leader
The Celtics this year has to be one of the greatest defensive teams the past 10 years
Any comments on Jokic's 2000 - 1000 - 500 season?
Would love to see your take on this and how impactful is it actually in the MVP discussion.
@papermaker107 giannis did that last year and this year from his 2 mvp season
What about a 2500 900 900 season or a 1990 1900 700 or 1900 900 700? It's just context
Gainnis for mvp?
Nikola's MVP is as underrated as Tim Duncan's MVP
Wilt Chamberlain probably did it. Amazing accomplishment
With the draft it’s all about when they started, there best season, or peak season.
If we’re talking 90s Jordan, he’s going first, but it’s basically all about when they’re peak was to me
2:37
Wait, not giving an award to someone because they were injured and didn't play the entire season sounds wrong to you ? It doesn't sound wrong to me at all.
If you're the leading scorer during the 40 first games and then miss the 30 next which means other players have surpassed your scoring, they should get the title over you no questions !!
How can you get the award when you were only the best for half a season ? 🤔
Aren't we giving awards to LeBron for longevity ?
I would like to see if Anthony Edwards is the most underrated first round pick, it seems like a good point…
Hot take: Steals and blocks don’t show a players true impact on defence
@Tommy oh ight I agree
@AvenoirJaiye who doesn't know curry is an avg to slightly above avg defender. It's just that a player like klay is more deserving of a vote.
@Tommy would be a good take if curry was bad on defense, but he’s not
@YRN x KJ ai was a decent defender and amazing for his size
Scottie Pippen was the leader of steals in playoffs before LeBron. Hes a great defender.
Hakeem Olajuwon was the leader in blocks all time.
As always, Jimmy putting up quality content
Love your Good/Bad/Atrocious takes videos. These are always bangers
Here’s one ☝️ this channel is more enjoyable then watching a regular season NBA game. 😁
Hot Take: The Cavs are still a play-in team but can get to the point contending for a title next season or the season after.
It’s kind of insane how Curry went from the MVP favorite to having a shooting slump which totally derailed his chances of winning
@Fam Bam true, he only wins a championship about half the time over the last decade.
@Fam Bam He averaged 32 ppg last season. Do you watch basketball? You can’t average 26 ppg and always be inconsistent. Look at James Harden stats….
@Daisy fr people forget about october to early january
I think if you score 25 points a game for 80 games that's pretty impressive and more impressive than only being there to score a few more points when you're occasionally healthy.
As always, Jimmy putting up quality content
The detail and creativity in this video is crazy, Jimmy your content is goated.
This guy has got me more invested in the NBA than all mainstream networks combined, absolute goat.
This guy has got me more invested in the NBA than all mainstream networks combined, absolute goat.
Love the content
Interesant placut
Imagine a world where ESPN puts out content equal to Jimmy. That's the world I want to live in
behind only Jeff Hornacek of all people.
You just can’t
nigga what are you on who yo plug
Jordan one had me in tears😭
Jimmy's first Top 5 Pick is insanely god tier. 4 out of 5 Best in Defense and 5 out of 5 Best in Offense.
Would LOVE for this to become a series on this channel because the facts, info, stats, and graphs you put into it make it so interesting and easy to understand why you think the way you think!!! As always love the vid!!
Came to the comments legit just to vouch for this being a series.
Andy hoops already has a hot take series 🤕
As somebody who frequently thinks about how milked that 2008 Celtics run was, I can also see the kind of grand narrative involved.
The big trio of that team-Pierce, Garnett, and Allen-were all amazing players who had been screwed over by their teams while being loyal to the soil for years. They never got the people around them to ascend and become the champions they deserved to be. So they come together as one force to take the league by storm, and do it in their first try. They proved their value and champion caliber together.
The raptors this year have been really good but absolutely nobody is talking about it and most of their players are really underrated as well.
Just wondering… If Rose played 81 games out of 82 in the reg season, how can we tell if the Bulls relied on him much more than the grizzlies on Morant?
@Jayson Tatum Fanboy
If wins are wins and loss are losses
The Bulls won G5 after Rose was injured in G1.
Even if GS got a blow out lost, comparing it to the win of the bulls, it’s a different era of basketball(playing styles, defense strategies, etc)
BTW I’m a C’s fan as well.. I miss Rondo☘️
@邱柏維 Good point, but didn’t the grizzlies blow the warriors out by 50 without ja?
@Jayson Tatum Fanboy If you bring the playoffs in I can agree with u. But what abt the grizzlies in the 2nd round this year?
The first round of those playoffs
Haven’t started the vid but I alr know there’s gonna be some insane chart or graph
What chart?
@ItzEmS habit
@Leon Jacob Fr 😭 I was so surprised their wasn’t
Lol ironic because this is the one vid that there wasn’t one
There was only like, one lol
This dude is absolutely superior in his research, explanations, and basketball IQ but hot damn he is funny as hell too 😂😂.
Hot take: I think the Mavs have the best shot at making it out of the west after the Suns
@THEBULL yeah I get what you mean but we got future stars like trae young who can do something like that
@George LeToad yeah, I get that, but one of those guys could have realized they were on pace for it and tried to get it, or even just got it organically on a random night
I feel like any of those guys could've taken one of the 82 games in a season could've went out and chased that record but that just isn't winning basketball so they never did great point though
The Celtics this year has to be one of the greatest defensive teams the past 10 years
I never knew how I can become a bigger basketball fan, but this guy proved me wrong
Hot take: Jimmy has the highest quality basketball-related content in the internet
Hot take: Jimmy dropping a video on my birthday means he specifically made me a birthday present. Thanks Jimmy!
@Chim Chin i don;t care
same here lol
@Intro Vert Hotter take: Yes I was
Sorry to tell you but... You're not the only one whose birthday was yesterday.
Its my birthday as well
Thank you Jimmy people claim Lebron started the "Modern super team" when it's actually the 08 celtics for not only giving him the blue print but beating him so bad in the playoffs he had no choice but to team up and join forces
Hot take: I think that Monta Ellis is the greatest scorer to never be an All Star
If their are an award of the most improved nba team it would be the Memphis Grizzlies by roster, offense and the improvements since the 2017-18 Season
The saddest fallout after a few years in the season are San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Ok, regarding the draft take, I'd have to take either steph or LeBron first. Most would take Jordan but not me. Jordan is more skilled then both all around, but Bron can play every position on the court and has the size. He's also proven he can sustain dominance and be consistent. My only worry is him playing GM
The detail and creativity in this video is crazy, Jimmy your content is goated.
Repent to Jesus Christ
“rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross!”
Philippians 2:7-8 NIV
Most NBA stars don't care about the fans. MJ famously said how he could never take a game off b/c there were people in those stands who waited/saved up for years, just to see him play once. In addition, I think back in the day, most athletes played different sports year round, meaning different muscles were getting worked out at different times and no particular body parts/muscles/tendons were being overworked. Today's athletes are mostly made to focus on the one sport that gives them the best shot at a scholarship and directed by their parents to just focus on that, 365 days a year, which means certain body parts getting over worked and susceptible to injury.
You could also throw in there the modern training of the younger athletes more and how It can be affecting that
For anyone reading this: JESUS loves you so much that HE gave up HIS own life for you on the cross, and if you repent of your sins, and accept HIM as Lord and Savior, you will become a Christian, and you will have everlasting life!
Hot take: Wade was better overall than kobe, just didn't have the longevity (injuries) or as many chips due to not being in Lakers or being carried but young Shaq, but kobe was better shooter. Also I think kobe could play defense when he wanted but overall just above average on D.
Honestly Ben doesn’t need a 3 point shot all he needs is mid range and his great performance before the fans made him insecurely
7:39 I agree because KD has he height, shot, and defense. Overall has pretty much everything.
The guarding hot take is true in most sports. Sports where defending is easier than scoring lead to games where no one scores and aren't very exciting, so almost all games make defending 1-on-1 harder than scoring 1-on-1.
We do need part 2, it just keeps getting better with every take🔥
@Kyle Cobb this is part 2? I need to hit that bell icon ASAP
plclip.com/video/TiJQ15HspJg/wideo.html
This is part two lol
Hot take : if the warriors didnt have so many injuries this season and the past few and if they had steph , klay , draymond , kuminga and pool playing together on a healthy team they would and could have been a championship winning team and if they have a healthy roster they could win this year’s title race easy
@GoatLogan guess its a cold take now 🤷🏼
Well they did still win the title
@jxmy man, love your content congrats on hitting the trending page BUT I got one major gripe with this vid... How and why? when talking about scoring champs did you pick out jordans 37.1ppg season, and KDs 32ppg season BUT AI's 26.8 (when he had multiple 30+ seasons) and Kobe's 31.6 instead of his 35.4 season. Slip up or conspiracy? What's the agenda? (just kidding btw, but for real whatsup with the stats mr. stat man)
The draft you pick is awesome just replace Durant over lebron then it's a perfect team
Hot Take: Kyrie was essential for the 2016 Finals Game 7 cav win
The John Stockton take almost made me cry laughing.
I wouldn't put KD that high in a draft, but he'd be in the top 10 or right around there for sure.
@Swedishboi if you don’t have lebron in your top 3 you’re just a delusional hater
@Josh ah you just seemed to be defending the original statement.
@TylerSoExclusive But neither is Wade, and Lebron is barely
@TylerSoExclusive obviously Stockton isn't top 5 all-time, I never claimed that.
@Josh Stockton is obviously an elite passer and good on the defensive end. Does that make him top 5 all time? Absolutely not
2008 Boston Celtics were one of the best teams ever! Super entertaining!
Because Lukas been talked about since he got drafted being a “future mvp” I think the reason why embeed and ja are above his because of the fatigue of talking about him, Luka is the mvp over those two, but won’t win the award
I’m still tryna figure out how 1.1mil views not equal too 1.1mil likes. Give this man his credit. Every video a banger.
6:35 Lmao that KD part aged well didn’t it?
i think the point about guarding versus elite players is more nuanced. I agree that you can't truly guard an elite player in the sense that you don't often prevent them from attempting their basket, but the goal becomes making the scoring player put in as much effort/energy into the point as possible to wear them down/cause more inconsistency in their further play.
Hot take: if the cavs lost the 2016 nba finals, the warriors would have won it.
it’s not my take but i’d love to hear your thoughts on the whole Ja>Luka argument that was happening this year. I personally think it’s Luka and it’s not even close.
Hot take: "Loyalty" is so bs in NBA, like a player is scrutinized for leaving and wanting to win but not the GMs that wasted the players years of talent
agreed.
Also loyalty but if you have a bad season or get hurt, they will cut you or trade you without a thought
@Steven Nenejian very dogshit. kd's prime was wasted in okc, and it was only when he left that he got a ring
but this take wont stop lilard from the grind💪
@Tnk4me No…If Lebron decided in the semifinals of the Olympics that he didn’t want to compete anymore he would be roasted for his rest of life.
Spurs have 4 future all-stars on their team. Keldon Johnson, devin Vassell, Josh Primo and Jakob Poeltl are going to be all-stars in a few years
Congrats Jimmy, you’re trending, you’ve came a long way bro💯
chemistry. You won’t get any of that BS with Steph.
“Has there ever been a title milked like ‘08 Celtics”
Yeah, 94 Rangers. New York still talks about it because it’s all they’ve got.
This NBA season has been the best (as in most exciting, enjoyable and evenly matched) season in the last 10 years, mabye the last 15. I really feel like anyone could take home the chip this year. Im sco hyped for the playoffs
Aaaaaand warriors are winning again, but yeah, this season was amazing, including the play offs
ok
Only in watching Duke fall to UNC has been as fun as watching Lebron's superstar ego team implode like the goddamn Hindenburg.
plclip.com/video/1P3A2pbfsnE/wideo.html look at this prank🤣🤣🤣
@Jonny Hendrix bro you could go on and on, grizzlies, hawks, mavs, Celtics. so much young talent it’s insane. The league has improved so much with the depth in all their rosters
Curry is literally the goat, no one has ever changed the game as much as he has. He is so Good everybody started playing like him lol
